  1. Yeah same here, 969 covers not extracted. It only extracts correctly from midway through R onwards.
  2. Yeah i have used that method in the past, but it is quite tedious, having to go to the apps folder and create a shortcut on the desktop of every game you want to import. I dont currently have any of my gamepass games imported though as i recently setup my Launchbox from scratch again, and couldnt be bothered with it so i just start them from the Gamepass app.
  3. Your manage emulator image has MAME/mame64.exe, so that would be Launchbox/MAME/mame64.exe. Yet your edit game and folder images have Emulators and Roms/MAME as the path, so if your roms are in the emulators roms folder your path in the edit emulator screen is wrong.
  4. PC gamepass is sorta a big deal for me to easily import. GOG handles it real well, but id rather just have everything in Launchbox.
  5. Game pass for PC is fairly heavily used im guessing. I certainly use it for one, i mean £3.99 a month for all those free games as well as Microsoft exclusives on day one is a no brainer.
  6. It will always be in it, a mame romset contains everything. If its not in a full mame romset, be it merged, non-merged or split then its simply not a arcade game.
  7. Did you specify the correct core to use in Tools/Manage Emulators/Retroarch/Asossiated Platforms tab?
  8. You can just right click a folder/zip on the website and "Get shareable link" People dont need to login to access a shared link.
  9. Even if you did just delete the cache folder it would just be re-created and re-cached upon next launch.
  10. There is a checkbox in Bigbox to prefer theme videos, uncheck it.
  11. Same here, i just get a blank import screen. Also i dont think the Logout of Origin is working correctly. As you said to logout and log back in i tried that, Launchbox says i'm now logged out via a popup window, but when i go to try the importer again it still auto logs me in. I did check the box for "remember me" when i logged in the first time, so i guess it doesnt matter if i logout via Launchbox as it still auto logs me in after. Even after doing that i still get a blank import window. Also i should add i have 2FA on so had to input my authenicator code, could that be messing with things? For the record.
  12. If you have a gmail account, or any google account for that matter you get 15GB of googledrive space free with your account. Id just use that.
  13. Yup i do tell people to edit files as a last resort, but if there is a UI interface to do what they want to do that is always my first recommendation.
  14. Bigbox is designed for a keyboard or controller setup not a mouse, thats the whole point of that UI. Xbox One controllers work just fine, i used one for several years with Launchbox/Bigbox before i switched to a different controller. Are you using a official xbox controller? Is it USB or wireless? If wireless is it a newer bluetooth model or the older one using a dongle?
  15. Yeah you can do that also, but as a moderator i tend to not tell people to edit there files, for obvious reasons, and especially if there is a way to do it in the UI. If you go that route just back everything up first.
  16. As i have already said to you twice in this thread, downloading random roms is a recipe for disaster. You should really just get a fullset then you know you have everything you actually need for the games to run correctly. MAME is not a case of just downloading a rom and playing it like other systems. Roms will rely on files that may also be in what seem like completely unrelated game zips. As they were often on the same hardware boards they use a Parent structure, take for example Street Fighter 2, in order to run the Championship edition version you also need the original version as most of the data is in that rom still, only the actual differences are in the championship edition rom. You also need bios files that may be in the parent rom and not the clone rom.
  17. You cant upscale MAME games, MAME is all about accuracy, games will run at whatever resolution the original cabinet ran at.
  18. Then why in this first image is it looking in the system32 folder for something, and then flashing up a big "this app does not work with your PC" warning box?
  19. Are you trying to run the 64bit version of MAME on 32bit windows?
  20. I wouldnt call co-op games a genre personally, its a game mode, not a genre. As for the auto populated playlist then they obviously rely on the metadata you have for your games, if that metadata isnt available then they wont populate in that playlist.
  21. If you have the core downloaded Launchbox will see it.
  22. Might be quicker and easier to just move the Video folder, they will be taking up most of the space, and you would only need to change one location per platform.
  23. You can move the image and video folders elsewhere, but you would need to manually point Launchbox to each media folder for every platform one by one. You can do this under Tools/Manage Platforms/Folders tab.
  24. The actual core is still called mednafen, its only called Beetle in the retroarch UI.
