  1. It is easy to copy/paste it. He is asking about changing media paths only though, not moving the whole thing.
  2. Are you using windows scaling, because that looks like a res/scaling issue to me?
  3. Looks like you are using a low resolution display. Its likely this theme was created for 1080p and anything other than that will be off.
  4. I just checked here and i dont have World War Z in my Launchbox either, i do however have Thimbleweed Park. I just ran the importer again and it found GTAV and added that, but i still dont have World War Z. I have 113 games on epic, but only 108 in Launchbox, so i have a handful missing.
  5. Download the core in Retroarch, then go to the associated platforms tab for retroarch and double click the core next to the platform and choose the one you want from the dropdown.
  6. I would also add to use FBNeo and not fba, fba is no longer maintained, the devs moved over to fbneo.
  7. Also make sure MAME itself knows where your romset is.

Launchbox/Videos/Playlists, and name it the same as the playlist.
  9. Thats what you want, just the .cue file.
  10. You need the old versions as well, it specifically says directx 9, that has absolutely nothing to do with directx12. You need all the old versions as well, just like if installing a old PC game.
  11. Yeah, in the edit screen point it at the newly named file.
  12. My actual roms are mostly US, so i guess there are naming issues ( i used bulk rename utility to change all the (Europe) in your pack to (USA) so that Launchbox will show them) Sega Rally 2 is actually called Sega Rally Championship 2 in my Launchbox, so thats why that one doesnt show.
  13. Not true at all, the resolution of the arcade version is 384 X 224. The only thing you can do is turn off bilinear filtering and turn up the pre-scale settings in MAME.
  14. well yeah, i didnt even give PS2 a second thought here.
  15. I used bulk rename utility to rename the image files. A native solution would be better though.
  16. Go to your Launchbox/Updates folder and run the latest installer again.
  17. Hey @Robin55, and chance you can do one of these cases with just a picture of the Dreamcast on it? Id like to use it for games i dont have 3D boxes for as i dont want to fill my gaps with the different style US box. This is what i have currently, and they stick out to much.
  18. They go in videos/startup, not just the root video folder.
  19. Yeah i second this. I have US roms for my systems, but would prefer to use the PAL boxart for them as they are the boxes i grew up with and recognize, but in order to do so i have to rename all the images to match the US region naming in order to "force" Launchbox to show them. So yes i agree it should show the boxes based off of your region priorities set, and not the (USA) in rom names which is already ignored for other things in the UI and matching purposes. This is especially important for me for things like Genesis, it was the Megadrive here and the boxes were different and id like to show them considering my Platform name in Launchbox is "Sega Mega Drive" i dont really want a mix of boxes some with Genesis on them and some with MegaDrive, same issue with Sega CD/Mega CD, and also SNES cartridges the US has those boxy carts while everywhere else in the would had the more rounded type. Any thoughts on this @Jason Carr or @C-Beats?
  20. FYI the mame.ini issue is nothing to do with Launchbox not being able to read it, it doesnt read it. The issue is when the ini was moved in mameui by the devs it broke it somewhat. Loading games from within the mameui interface still works as expected, however when loading games via command line, which is what Launchbox does, mameui still looks in the normal location for the ini file, and not the new location of the ini folder that the deves moved it to. TLDR: commandline loading looks in the root folder as it always did, loading from the UI looks in the new location. This is why copying the ini into the root folder works.
