These are not actually "workarounds" Just the way it should usually be done. You have a strange format that i havent seen before is all. Did you copy the .bin out of the zip and link to that?

Normally though a game will have a .cue and a .bin, so fingers crossed for you.

Not at all, it has no logic to pick a specified file out of a zip. So thats the issue.

OK that is zipped, whats inside it? Is it like @CDBlue suspects and a multi file, ie a .cue and one or many .bin files?

Obvious question, but have you set it up in Bigbox? Launchbox and Bigbox have separate settings.

Sounds like it would be a lot easier to just use MAME rather than Retroarch. Using Retroarch MAME core for non arcade games is a total pain in the arse.

In your first image you dont have megadrive, you have genesis, thats why it doesnt show in the launch with. As for your other questions, i cant help there im afraid as i have never used those emulators.

Why are you using a commandline for that game? As long as you added Playstation as a associated platform for Retroarch in Tools/manage emulators/retoarch and specified the correct core you dont need a commandline for individual games. Also that command is wrong anyway so wont work, remove it.

You will need these three files, ones USA, one is Europe and one is Japan. As for importing go to the parent folder and type *.pbp into windows explorer search bar and click one then CTRL A to highlite them all and drag and drop onto Launchbox.

So double clicking mame64.exe doesnt open MAME? did you download the wrong version?

Have you told MAME where you roms are located if not in the MAME/roms folder?

Does your romset version match your emulator version?

Have a look in the control panel of whatever GPU you are using.

Sounds like you are running at 30fps and not at 60fps.

Distributing emumovies videos would be a big no no, as they are for premium subscribers only.

You might be better off contacting the bezel project devs, or posting on there thread on these forums. I dont expect you will get much traffic on this thread as these are the Launchbox forums, not the Bezel Project.

Yeah no problems testing at 1080p, also i have my system set to 200% scaling, so everything looks the same size as 1080p anyway, just way sharper. -
Well i am on Windows 10 on a 4K OLED TV, and i also use Retro Achievements, so looks like im a good candidate to test.

The issue he has above is specifically this, So its a Mii error, some games will use the Mii data as soon as they are launched, and if you dont have a "user folder" which also contains data for a Mii, then you will get that error. https://citra-emu.org/wiki/dumping-system-archives-and-the-shared-fonts-from-a-3ds-console/
