    Emulators

for those sort of systems from the 8 and 16 bit eras i would use Retroarch for them all personally. It supports them all and they are constantly updated. Kega Fusion is a very old emulator that hasnt been worked on in a long time.
  2. Thats just the state of 3DS emulation, while the standalone may run slightly better, you will still find that most games have issues, be it graphically, audio or speed wise.
  3. Yeah i havent either, im assuming its still in the ini.
  4. If i recall you can also just set it to full-screen in the citra.ini file.
  5. You can do it easily in Launchbox. Add the wads/pk3's as roms and use gzdoom as the emulator.
  6. Its a very fair comparison, its software, and is sold at the price the market is willing to pay. Launchbox is doing very very well, so it seems that people are fine with the price for what it provides to them. At the end of the day every individual has to apply there own circumstances and income situation to any purchase they make. Only you can decide if something is worth the asking price.
  7. You can get premium for as little as $30. How much is a new AAA game release in your country, im guessing around the same price as a forever license? So it doesnt seem to bad to me. Resident Evil 3 Remake is released tomorrow, that will be $60 for a 5 hour experience, compared to Launchbox that has given me hundreds, if not thousands of hours of use, and is also still constantly updated and evolving. Seems pretty good value to me in comparison.
  8. Just go to tools/manage emulators/mame and change the path to the correct .exe.

    videos directory

You do not "import" the videos. Just tell Launchbox where they are like you have in your image and also make sure you have videos turned on in Tools/Options/Legacy/Game Details. Also i see in your original post you say the path is "videos/1942.flv, are the video files actually flash? As im not sure if flash is supported or not.
  10. The above script will work with your controller if you have setup a "close active window" combo in controller settings.
  11. My guess here is the splitter as well. The fact you have a image means that the HDMI is working, so you should also have the audio option, the fact that you dont could be the splitter stripping the audio out, maybe for HDCP reasons? Or is it passing a format the splitter cant handle for some reason? As @JoeViking245 says, id try without the splitter first as that is my suspect. Also in the audio options make sure you have the "show disconnected" and "show Disabled" device options checked, and see if it shows as a device.
  12. Yes. You can choose to save globally, per core, per content directory, or per game.
  13. You dont save overrides for shaders, there is a specific option to save them in the shaders menu.
  14. There is no setting anymore. The video will either play to the end, or skip when you press a button and if Bigbox is ready.
  15. Use the steam importer to import steam games, it will scrape steam not our database.

    arcade stick

Xinput is part of directx that was created by Microsoft and is part of Windows. It is the standard these days for controller support on Windows, and is also what the xbox controllers are using. So any xinput controller will be seen by Windows as a xbox controller.
  17. Thing is most new games will require the same sort of graphics power as the ps3 and xbox 360 emulators do, ( and to be fair the emulators may need more power than new games, and also neither of those emulators are ready for prime time yet). I used to have a GTX 1060 6GB card paired with a i5 3570k and some PS3 stuff ran somewhat OK, other stuff was a complete no go, i also tried Red Dead Redemption on the 360 emulator and that ran at about 15 frames a second. This as i say with a 1060, which is more powerful obviously than a 1050 TI. Obviously your mileage may vary depending on the games you want to play, but i feel you are being a little over optimistic here with the platforms to run with that GPU, and even more so when you consider how new and buggy those systems emulators currently are.
  18. As already stated updating media never touches your games or your emulators, it simply downloads files to folders. Sounds like you have more serious issues if its the same on both systems. Are they networked? Are they sharing a cloud storage folder?
  19. You dont need Launchbox running as admin to launch ganes in CEMU. As @DOS76 said, sounds like you have something else going on on your PC. Neither Launchbox or emulators need admin rights.
  20. Launchbox should not be run as administrator, it will stop certain emulators launching as they will need elevation.
  21. Well, restarting the emulator would close the pause screen and trigger the shutdown screen (if enabled) i would imagine. Launchbox will see the emulator close essentially. Maybe possible, but with my layman knowledge that sounds like a hell of a re-write of the pause and startup/shutdown screens.
  22. Sorry i cant answer that, i havent used that emulator in years. I use the retroarch core for PS1.
  23. I would use one of the xbox controllers personally, natively supported on Windows and by emulators, has two sticks (needed for some ps1, and of course ps2, gamecube). As for emulators, those are just that suggestions, personaly i use retroarch for as many systems i can with a few exceptions, i do use it for N64, using the mupen plus next core.
