As for your Nintendo DS games, i'm going to guess those have the stupid number at the start of the games? If so, thats the issue with them.
-
Not in this case as you also have the version in the name, so in your case Lauchbox thinks the game is called "4x4 Evo v1.001" and of course there is no such game as that, so thats a major issue you have, any data that is not the game name should be in () or [] so that info is ignored when matching the game name to the database. As for your rom types, that im not sure about, frankly your 4x4 Evo looks a mess with multiple bin and raw files so i'm not sure how Launchbox would handle that. Frankly the actual files and naming are bad in this case, not bad as in they wont work of course, but bad in relation to a frontend as there are too many files, as well as a "incorrect" name on each game due to the version not being ignored by the scraper.

How are your roms named, and can you give a example? There should be no difference between the importer on Android or Windows, and the same Launchbox database is used for both. Also, you do not CHD folders, you CHD files, in your case it would be the GDI and BIN files that are compressed to CHD. For the record i have some Dreamcast on my Fire HD 10 tablet that are CHD and they imported just fine.

Ah, OK, so you are in the platform view here, i was confused as you had a game video in your screenshot. OK this is a very simple fix, you need to download some platform videos, currently you don't have any, and you also have the option on to show a random game video when you don't have a platform video. There are links to the videos on the themes download page, and they are also i believe available directly in the Launchbox downloader, Tools/Download Playlist/Platform videos. What you see there in the SNES image you posted is a fullscreen 16:9 video, not just a small video in the middle of images, the whole thing is a video file.

Always appreciate the open and frank explanations of issues, and the why's and why not's of the matters.

We would need a Turkish language speaker to volunteer to do the translation, thats not a feature just a lack of people willing to do it. I'm going to assume by your post being in Turkish that you cant translate from English yourself, just like our American developers also cannot translate English to Turkish as they do not speak the language.

What exactly do you mean here by system? Do you mean like NES, SNES, Megadrive etc? cause that would be impossible as they contain different games. If by "System" you mean a different PC, then that is as simple as copy/pasting the playlist file to the other PC, as long as that other PC has the same platforms and games in it.

"Glitchy" Interface when editing or adding a new game

By default Mame will look inside its own roms folder for the roms, so simply mame/roms. If that is not where you have them then you need to give mame the path, either via its UI or adding it to the mame.ini which is in the root mame folder after opening the emu and saving a config at least once.

The bezel project is simply bezels, they do not use any shaders at all. The actual artwork of the bezel is slightly curved to mimic a CRT, but it does nothing to the gameplay window image whatsoever.

Again people, this thread is for discussion of the features proposed in the poll. It is not a place to make new requests not associated with the poll. As stated in the first post those should be directed to the bitbucket via the Help & Support/Request a Feature link at the top of the forum.

OK thats quite thorough troubleshooting there, but its missing one very important step which is always the first thing we ask, and that is "Do your roms actually load in your chosen emulator when just using the rom and emulator without involving Launchbox at all?" This should always be the first step for any platform as there is no point troubleshooting Launchbox if your roms are simply bad and do not work. What MAME romset did you download, and what version of the MAME emulator are you using?
-
There will never be official integration as the majority of their content is just stolen from Emumovies, and we won't endorse that.
-
I just want to point out that the bezel project integration will just be a downloader and possibly a place in the correct location for Retroarch/MAME to see tool, it wont mean actual bezel support implementation integrated directly into Launchbox/Bigbox for use with any emulator. At least that is my understanding of it.

PAL roms run at 50Hz, NTSC ones at 60Hz, so yes NTSC are faster and how they were for the most part designed to run at. I am also in the UK and grew up with PAL, but all my roms are the US versions due to them running at the correct speed and not being slowed down.
-
Thats what i'm trying to explain, you bypass it by actually loading a rom to it, which you for whatever reason are currently not doing. It's not a error, or a screen to bypass, it is simply the emulators UI without a game loaded. Could you please supply the images you were asked for yesterday if you actually want some help with this?
-
Thats not a error, its just the MAME UI, which means the game isnt being loaded just MAME is. If your rom or CHD was incorrect you would get a list of missing/wrong files from MAME, but you are not getting any error, you are seemingly just opening MAME without a rom being passed to it first.
-
Sorry, but if you are seeing the games then what is the actual issue? I'm clearly missing something here.
-
Using somebody else's playlists means you need to have the exact same games with the exact same naming as they do, or else the list wont populate correctly.
-
Launchbox is file agnostic, it imports whatever you give it, we have no list of supported file types as Launchbox can be used to launch far more than just games, so having and maintaining a list is time consuming and rather pointless as you are effectively locking out file types for no good reason. For example in this use case you do not want the bin files, but in the case of Megadrive/Genesis those roms can be in either .md or .bin files, so not importing .bin files could mean not importing Megadrive/Genesis roms, so we do not discriminate and just import what you tell us to.
-
If you see that screen starting a game then the game is not imported correctly. Although i do see you are not using MAME, you are using MAME4Rage2 whatever that is, so could be the issue as it's not MAME and doesnt even have a proper revision version like MAME and it's Romsets should have.
-
And the games you are trying to launch are installed? Cant say i have ever seen steam games imported with the dedicated importer just open steam and not launch the game. What do you have in the Launching/Application path for a game?
