  1. Mmm Hmm, OK Grand Pa, i believe you, isn't it time you should be in bed???
  2. OK i take it back, that is deffo a age thing!!!
  3. Amazon drive does cheap unlimited storage, not sure where you are, but it's £55 a year here, for unlimited storage, so that's a good choice for backup, something big, not connected to your PC or network.
  4. Yeah i will second Brad here. This is one of the reasons a lot of us here use retroarch as much as we can. The standalone emulators you are using are probably available and are just as good, if not better in some cases than there standalone equivalents, and the same button combo will work across all the emus in retroarch. If you are adamant that you want to use separate emulators for separate consoles then you will have to use some sort of script like posted above, and of course a lot of emulators have different keys for save and load, so you would have to change that script for all your individual emulators. As far as i am concerned that is just a hassle i don't want to deal with, and retroarch let's me not deal with that. Each to there own though, you will just need a lot more setup and tinkering than most users here, and may because of that run into more issues than most as a result.
  5. Lol, notice the North American/Australian, So not a English word!!! Based off of sure, but not correct. lol Not that i am one to comment on language, i have a filthy mouth and my spelling is often appalling.
  6. thats mosey, with a "E" i said mosy m-oz-y
  7. OK, Doug????? lol no idea. And mosquito=mosy!! like "fuck that mosy just got me".
  8. OK, i am clearly missing something here, it's a country thing again isn't it??
  9. Ok, would you be able to check the portable folder as well as the roaming? It's just that i have my Launchbox all self contained on a external HDD. If i could then also install a Portable Kodi (say in my emulators folder) and store all my movie/TV Shows all within the LaunchBox folder i would have a fully portable gaming emulator front end, and tv/movie watching HDD that i could plug into any PC and it would all "just work". Sorry to be a pest, you are doing awesome work.
  10. Yeah i was going to mention Sega Classics, it's the only Arcade playlist banner i am missing, i assume it was just a oversight, and that's fine it happens.
  11. The Kodi location is always that roaming folder regardless of what drive you install to, it will always try to store stuff to your C drive. The only exception is when you make kodi portable (which is very easy to do) then the data is in the same folder as your Kodi instal. Also i assume this works on all versions of Kodi?? I am using the Leia nightlies, but of course folder structure is still maintained there i believe.
  12. lol, Hey we are all catching up with you. And if i can spend my retirement smashing through games on a daily basis, then that is a awesome retirement.
  13. OH OK, i have heard of that, but that is about as far as it goes, that's the one they called ever crack right?? Oh so not a Firefly reference.
  14. Ouch, i haven't even finished Diablo 3 once. lol.
  15. Yeah, despite my age i actually got into PC games very late, i was always a console kid. We never even owned a PC until i was probably 25 ish, so a lot of those "classic" loot games were never on my radar unless they came to console, which they hardly ever did.
  16. We have talked about this before, but bigger isn't always better. That's why the first Batman is my favourite it's just more focused with less fluff.
  17. Yeah the first game remaster is totally fine, it's not really a remaster per se as it was good on pc originally, the console versions are remasters cause they were 720p 30fps, the PC was always a good version. I didn't really like the Diablo aspect of the sequel to be honest with you, something about it just didn't jive with me. Maybe i should go back and have a look, as since then i bought Diablo 3 on PC, which was my first Diablo and actually really quite enjoyed it.
  18. LOL, OK i am actually going to disagree with you there @Zombeaver i much preferred the first game personally. I also got the remastered version free on steam, and it's a great version of a great game. If you haven't played it @Patham it's a really violent Zelda clone with God of War style combat, highly recommended.
  19. Pretty much any game will run in 4K if windows know's it is plugged into a 4K display. Hell i only have a 1080p TV but can run older games at 4K and it get's downsampled to my 1080p TV
  20. Oh my, @Patham has just gone on a "like" spree!!
  21. Yeah to be fair though it is obviously doing a bigger search now also as it's looking for different names as well, it may just be something that comes with the territory now, or maybe it's something @Jason Carr can improve on. Bear in mind this has just been implemented, and is only in the beta releases also. So maybe it will be improved upon in future, only Jason will no the answer to this, and he will be live streaming in 90 minutes so maybe someone can bring it up there.
  22. When and if the game you are importing is added to the PS2 database, all you would do is edit that game and hit the little x next to the database id there and search again and it will pull the new PS2 metadata rather than whatever you originally used. It wont break anything at all, the game description will probably be the same regardless of console (it's the same game after all), so that will be correct regardless of the platform. Regarding why you can choose a different platform at all, well Launchbox will search for the game you are importing and prioritise the platform you are currently in, but if it draws a blank there it will offer up the other platforms as a backup essentially, you don't have to pick one but i personally do because as i said the description, number of players, release date etc should be the same across platforms. As long as you change that dropdown back to PS2 after picking a different version for the data it will import to your PS2 library, it will just have different box art, but as i said you can just google the PS2 box art and replace the version you have.
