  1. In the 3rd pic where you add Ghost recon, on the right of the screen is a dropdown for platform, which you have set to windows, change that to uplay. That should then import to the correct platform and not create a windows platform.
  2. Yeah but what im saying is you can just point your STEAM, and GOG etc platforms to pull the images and videos from the Windows image folder. So you import your platform rename it, which will unlink it from the Windows image folder. You can then go into that option i showed above and point the platform back to the Windows folder. So you will have a platform called GOG, but it will pull the images from the Windows folder which is where launchbox stores them by default.
  3. In regards to linking the image folder after renaming you can go to tools/manageplatforms/platformname/edit and click the folder tab there and you can browse to any folder on your pc.
  4. You can download them as a zip on emumovies, just click the top checkbox next to "download selected" that will check all the videos and download them as a zip.
  5. After you download the videos manually you need to place them in Launchbox/Videos/nameofsystem. If you get emumovies premium they will download from within launchbox and automatically be put in the correct location.
  6. HI, yes you need a emumovies subscription to download game videos in launchbox. You can also setup a free emumovies account at the website and download the videos manually, although that way you are limited to 1.5GB of downloads per day. Hope that helps.
  7. Yeah i only noticed it today, i only have one album in the folder, Far Cry Blood Dragon soundtrack, which has 25 tracks. When i opened bigbox it started on track 6 then proceeded to play the rest of the album in order until i went in to the options and came back out, when i came out of the options it selected another random track but then carried on playing in order again afterwards.
  8. Just to add @Jason Carr I have also just noticed this today, starts with a random track then goes sequential after.
  9. You need to launch a snes game then open the quick menu, either f1 on the keyboard or usually the guide button on a xbox pad. Once in the quick menu scroll down to options.
  10. As @lordmonkus stated above the bsnes mercury cores emulate those chips in software, so try one of those. the balanced one is probably best, but if you have a good cpu in your system you can try the bsnes mercury accuracy core.
  11. yeah if it works ok for you that is absolutely fine. I can only speak to my personal observations on my system, but i did notice a difference on my system, but every system is different and your mileage may vary.
  12. yeah you only really need to re-do it if you change a lot of images or add a new platform. Once its all cached you should be good to go with no issues for a while.
  13. I assume its not compulsory due to the time it takes, i know people on here who have 100,000+ games in there collection, that would take hours to cache.
  14. Thats why i prefer having that on a ssd as seek times are quicker for me than the hdd i originaly had them on.
  15. No its caching to your hdd, if you open your launchbox image folder you will find a cache folder.
  16. No i dont experience those issues personally, except maybe if Windows is updating or something like that. I actually only have a 250GB ssd, on which i have windows, Launchbox and steam (allthough i install my steam games to other hdd's on my system). I have about 19000 games in my launchbox setup with all the images and videos for most of those games as well and my launchbox folder is currently about 138GB in size, but because all the relevant images and videos are on the ssd its smooth as butter, and just loads my roms from the usb drive.
  17. Yeah it will absolutely be faster if they are on your ssd. Thats actually what i do, i have Launchbox, images and videos on my ssd and all my roms on a 5TB USB 3.0 HDD, works very well like that.
  18. Yeah, as i said it will take a while. You only have to do it the once though, once its done ALL your clear logos should be cached in and you shouldn't have that issue anymore.
  19. Also you can force cache all images in bigbox, just go to options/imagecache/ force populate all game wheel images. This will take a while but does what it says, caches all those images in.
  20. Well i just used the new clean up images feature and it freed up 10GB of space on my drive!! Great work as always @Jason Carr
  21. Just wanted to pop in and say i ended up grabbing a darkwater set which work perfectly with mednafen/beetle in retroarch. So thanks for the help guys,i just grabbed the wrong set originally. Now i have got some serious sega rallying to be getting on with!! Thanks again.
