  1. Will do, its been going for about 45mins and is 25% done. If the worst happens I will just download a complete non-merged 0.184 set and start from scratch, currently downloading .chd's all 435gb!! that's gonna take about 28 hours so I got plenty of time.
  2. Cheers @DOS76, I think I solved it, in the system tab where cid said to click on all, then auto populate there was a load of bios and a load of SOFT I unchecked all the SOFT and just checked all the BIOS boxes and it seems to be doing its thing now, so we will see.
  3. Hi @CriticalCid, Thanks for this tutorial its much appreciated. I'm currently trying to update from 0.182 to 0.184, I have the 2 update packs and have followed your instructions step by step, but when I click new scan I get this error and cant proceed, any ideas? Thanks.
  4. As for pcsxr, you need to add a couple of commands to the command line, follow what Jason added in the 1st post in this thread. I know its for ePSXe, but that is what pcsxr is based off originally.
  5. Nice one, cheers for that.
  6. Here you go. Arcade Bezels.zip
  7. That's cool, whatever works for you is always the best solution. Even if you have a later mame rom set 99% of them should still work, so good gaming.
  8. Also I don't have a mame64.exe look, this is a version of mame called mameui.
  9. Its here, but may need some experemation your end to time it right, depending on bigbox startup time and length of video.
  10. I mean probably yes, but I don't know that program so I cant really help you unfortunately, but its probably in the options somewhere. Here is how easy it is in mameui, bottom left of the small window, choose effect.
  11. Depends on what version of mame you are using, I am using MAMEUI 64bit and can add that through the desktop ui.
  12. I'm sorry I cant really help you here I also use the save state method, if anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.
  13. Yeah I get ya, I think they are related though.
  14. Probably not the best place for this please excuse me @Dreamwarrior77 But ooh Matron.
  15. Cool thanks for the input @CriticalCid I thought that was the case, but no nothing about the theming process so just wanted to check.
  16. Cool, glad it all working now, yeah the theme name folder should just be the name of the theme. You had the theme folder hidden in another folder, any theme you want to use should work fine for you now. So enjoy bigbox and its many many themes, I'm out!!
  17. Of course it is What do I care, crack or carry on.
  18. OK that was possibly user error depending on what you use to unzip your files, if using 7zip, which I recommend you right click and unzip here, then cut/copy and paste into the themes folder.
  19. Lol, just noticed the blatant plug for your theme!! Good work fella!!
  20. Right your theme name should not look like that at all, I'm going to attach 2 pics to demonstrate.
  21. Lol cheers @Maddoc1007 but that was my second question? see above.
  22. So, did you watch that video I posted above? and follow the steps?
  23. OK, calm down you will not have to reinstall your whole setup. Your setup works right? no issues there, and the fact that bigbox works at all means that themes are working. So its a different issue.
