  1. OK, cheers. I'm sure I have heard it before, but maybe not.
  2. I like this, a beta out in the evening rather than about 1:00am!!
  3. See in this photo you can browse to where your current media is and use that.
  4. You don't need every media twice, you can tell launchbox where your media is stored and use it where it is. Its a bit fiddly as you need to do it by platform, but totally doable. Sorry cant help with symlink.
  5. Yeah I only launch steam when I actually want to play a game so guide button works fine for me. To each there own though, we all have different requirements and its great that we can all get what we want relatively easily.
  6. By default retroarch uses the guide button to bring up the ui, this can be changed in the retroarch input settings to something different. I personally have it left like that as its nice and quick to jump into the quick menu to save/load states. In launchbox/bigbox I have exit emulators set to hold back button and then press start, this can be configured under the automation setting, just choose any button you want as a button to hold down, then pick another button to actually close the emulators. Hope this helps.
  7. Hi @dmjohn0x, This intro video is exactly what I wanted as a startup video, great work. Quick question what is the music you are using on it? It sounds familiar to me, but I'm not sure. Thanks again.
  8. Sorry above my pay grade!!! lol. Try asking here.
  9. To re-import you will need to delete them first, same process as before highlight them all right click and delete. When you import now it will work, remember when it asks to download all the media to "select none" as you already have the media from your previous import, this will also make the import much quicker as no downloading is required. What @lordmonkus said, beat me to it.
  10. Well there is a issue there then, it looks like launchbox is looking in a different location for your roms. The only thing I could suggest is to re-import them. It shouldn't take long as you don't need to download media as you already have it.
  11. Have you moved your roms as well since you imported them?
  12. You can have your games anywhere you like it doesn't matter.
  13. That is a import you tried in that image, your games are already imported right? So click on one of your mame roms in lunchbox then control a to highlight them all then right click and choose edit, then from the drop down choose emulator then your mame emulator.
  14. If you have changed the emulator path you will need to bulk edit your Roms and point to your new mame path.
  15. Wow great work @Jason Carr, I just audited my spectrum games again, which took about a hour previously. Now it's down to about 15 minutes, with CPU consistently at about 75% much better, thanks a lot.
  16. Fair enough, good point well made. That's all it takes or needs sometimes, a simple explanation for everyone to read and take in.
