  1. Could of also just googled your question, probably would of found far newer answers than really old videos.
  2. Any actual comment or question related to the current betas? Or do i just immediately delete your comment, being it's the only one you have ever made?
  3. As above, also what external programs work with ours is not really relevant to us per se. We support any normal programs by default. Normally if a external program has stopped working with Launchbox, it's down to the external program itself.
  4. I believe this was a bug that is fixed in the betas.
  5. Clear logos go in the Launchbox/Images/Name Of Platform/Clear Logo folder.
  6. Ive just done a MAME fullset import about a hour ago that downloaded about 10,000 images, it took about 30 minutes.
  7. That free downloads quota only applies to the website and only for the lowest quality videos, it does not apply to Launchbox at all. Launchbox will download images with a free emumovies account, but you can only download music, manuals, and videos with a paid subscription.
  8. Your MAME romset does include them, they were just not imported into Launchbox because they do not work in MAME. They will be in your actual MAME folder.
  9. Then you may even just have bad roms, as they run in redream just fine for me. MAME romsets are easy to find, just look on the internet archive, but your .206 set will already have all these games.
  10. You will just need to experiment with the views, i'm not going to waste my own time looking at views for a theme i dont use or want to use. And again, in the quoted section that has now been quoted SEVERAL times, it says to setup a button for this, then all you have to do is go to a platform and press the button until you see the view you want.
  11. Yeah if it is a GDI its not a proper Sammy rom, sounds like the Dreamcast Sammy conversions that have been done as already pointed out, you could try it in Redream instead.
  12. You just need to switch the view, as already pointed out several times.
  13. Yeah, there is no need at all to have them scanned in Retroarch, and if its a complete romset they will all use one emulator, not several like you mention. If they do have to use several different emultators then it wasnt a MAME fullset, so you should not of used the fullset importer.
  14. No service will be any better, it's just the nature of having thousands of small files. It's your HDD having to locate the files on a disc not the speed of your internet or the service used, just try copying your launchbox folder to another drive on your PC and see how long that takes. Your hardware is the bottleneck.
  15. Yeah, as Launchbox is not passing the file and just giving MAME the filename, any blank zip with the correct name should be all Launchbox needs to tell MAME to start that specific game.
  16. Launchbox itself isnt looking for any file names, it gets its list of games to import from MAME itself. My guess, as there is no rom Launchbox is skipping the game as it's not in the game list extracted from the mame.exe.
  17. Have you tried updating to the latest version? Your error says 11.9 and the current released version is 11.12.
  18. The third image, change it to the right theme.
  19. What do you mean by "nothing happens" you need to be more specific. Does the metadata and images appear to download but the game doesnt show for example?
  20. Yes they need to be in folders, you can put them anywhere as long as you tell MAME the path. Yes, bios files usually come with the romset anyway so no user input needed. If you are using non-merged then the bios and qsound are in the sfiii3 zip, thats the whole point of having a non-merged set and it taking up all that extra space, each game zip contains all the needed files including bios files, hence the size difference as you will for example have hundreds of copies of the qsound file in a non-merged romset, every game that needs it will have it in the rom zip.
  21. I get what you are saying, but something is wrong with your setup then, as Launchbox has no influence over controls. If your settings are not saving that is a Dolphin issue, it's a known bug with dolphin currently. Emulator Issues #12453: When Dolphin-emu is started from the command-line Dolphin bar and connected wiimote(s) are not working, Running from the Dolphin GUI works - Emulator - Dolphin Issue tracker
  22. If things have been added to the database since you last scraped, you can either right click a game and go to Edit/Media to check, or for multiple games or platforms highlight the games and run the metadata and media tool and specify to only download new media.
  23. There is a option in Bigbox settings to launch the desktop UI.
  24. That is what the "reconstructed" or "fanart" tags are for.
  25. Themes dont really need to be "setup" you just add them to the themes folder or install in the UI and switch to the view you want, thats it.
