  1. Yeah there used to be a colour chart available with the codes, that seems to of been deleted since the updated version of the theme. Its all well and good saying you can add any colour to any system, but most people wont have a clue what colour code they need. I didnt know there were programs to get those codes, so ill have a look for one.
  2. I spent a couple of hours today importing 6 or 7 systems in a row and had no issues at all. Using a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, phone got a little warm, but that's to be expected.
  3. Snaps need a paid premium emumovies subscription, do you have one?
  4. At 19 seconds you need to specify a platform to scrape it as, you just left it blank, whereas when you did it the manual way you picked the game from the dropdown with that platform information already there. The database scraper when importing works differently to the manual way you showed, the importer wizard needs you to set a "scrape as" as you have a custom platform name, that "scrape as" should be set to arcade, we need to know the platform the game is for so we can download the correct metadata and images. Also in this case as you have entered no platform it could be seen as a duplicate if you have the same game in another platform, for example Saturn.
  5. Usually when you get 0 games imported it is because they are already imported. If what you are trying to import are sequels or different regions of a already imported game i would check by right clicking a game, and seeing if its been combined with another game. Also you can check the box in the wizard to force import duplicate roms and see if that then works.
  6. Ok, i have that file open, but how do i know the colour code to input there? I currently have ZX Spectrum and Windows only showing green.
  7. Highlight all the games in a platform by clicking one and using CTRL-A to highlight them all, then run the tool.
  8. No moderators apart from actual staff work for Launchbox. We are NOT employees, we do this in our own time for no rewards whatsoever, and sometimes the "i paid, implement my specific feature right now" mentallty of some users catches a moderator on a bad day, it happens, especially when you spend the whole day often answering the same questions over and over again, and dealing with the same troublesome users. You are not at all blameless in this situation with your antagonistic, holier than thow posts and what you imply in nearly every thread you post in.
  9. Then turn off anything update related! Please d not, just assume a update did whatever your lazy persona said.
  10. They still show just fine here, you using a custom theme? Cant say i have seen that either, its working just fine with my controller, is it the same when using the controller? Not at the moment i'm afraid.
  11. Nearly half past four on the Wednesday? Slacker.
  12. It completely depends on what theme you are using, different themes use different image types.

    Upgrading MAME

Not if you uncheck it all in the wizard, you already have 99% of it, you can manually run it after on the new games, that dont have any media yet after the import.

    Upgrading MAME

Just rerun the importer, being sure to point at your new roms folder as well as your new mame.exe.
  15. Waking from sleep is very different to actually powering on from a off state, i mean waking a PC from sleep is as simple as moving a mouse or pressing a key on your keyboard, starting it from a powered off state is a completely different ball game though.
  16. Well yeah, you would need it bound to a button in order to use said button. Maybe when turning that feature on we should prompt for a button to be set there and then, in case users havent already setup a controller with "back" being defined, as if holding escape isnt working then users will be stuck never being able to enter the options without messing with xml files, @C-Beats.
  17. It looks like the error says what the issue is, that the was a issue connecting to the microsoft page to download the needed file and it returned a 404 error, this is likely a issue on the microsoft end. So maybe wait a few hours and try again, we will have a look though just incase the URL changed or something more general has happened to the download pages.
  18. No, it also isnt needed for this one, at least i have NEVER needed to use a script to exit PPSSPP.
  19. The emulator has to be the active window in order to send any commands to it, in this case the exit command. So the pause screen, needs to switch to the emulator in order to issue the command, once issued the game over screen is shown. There is no way around that other than not exiting from the pause screen and just having a exit button combo.
  20. That's the issue though, Launchbox is closed source, and also only has two devs, which means time and resources are a issue, for what is a limited audience, who are also used to getting things for free. I'm sure if Launchbox was made for Linux the basic program would still be free, and you pay for Premium and BIgbox, as is currently the case, and you would want to be using Bigbox on a device like the Steamdeck
  21. So your issue isnt the way Retroarch maps controls, your issue is actually with how the controls were on every game on actual original hardware? I mean that can be changed in emulation, but you are essentially saying that control layouts on every 16bit game were layed out wrong, and that's simply not the case. I can't say i have ever seen anyone wanting to do what you want, they usually want the exact same layout as the original hardware (with some exceptions, which is what the per game controller remaps are for).

    Noob Issues

You need to specify the core you want to use in the associated platforms tab of the edit emulator screen (you need to do this for all systems if using retroarch if you dont want to use the generic defaults we pre-populate, in this case it is pre-populated with a core that is no longer in retroarch). You need to set a controller combo in the controller mappings section of the Bigbox options for "close active window".
