  1. Are they Platforms or Playlists, as those are two different paths? Platforms go in Launchbox/Images/Platforms/Name Of Platform/Clear Logo, and Playlists go in Launchbox/Images/Playlists/Name Of Playlist/Clear Logo. Also you may need to refresh the Bigbox cache after adding them for them to show.
  2. You can't really i'm afraid, at least not easily. Also unless you have a "Non-Merged" romset you cant remove anything in your romset folder as that may break working games.
  3. This is a bug in version 11.12 of Launchbox and should be fixed in the current betas. So you can either wait for a official release or update to the current beta now. To be clear the bug is that dragging and dropping folders does not list the items in the folder in the import wizard.
  4. The compilation would have a different name wouldn't it? so would be a different entry in our database, if in fact it is there at all, but a if its a different name then Launchbox will assume its a different game.
  5. Just use the same button/key when you are in a game view.
  6. Where is your ESO from, bethesda itself, gamepass? Have you tried just dragging and dropping the exe to Launchbox? You say you are trying to add the launcher, is the launcher not called Elder Scrolls Online and is therefore not under E in Launchbox?
  7. Have you tried setting a key to "change image type" Some themes are hard coded to show a specific image type, others let you choose by cycling image types with a button. Could be this theme allows you to choose and its currently set to the wrong image type.
  8. Looks like one of the unifieds, should be a video there, not sure if it falls back to images at all.
  9. I just looked here and i'm getting the error also, only on the below view though, something changed in the betas maybe? EDIT: however after clicking the error away the view still works.
  10. The actual core is called mednafen, it's only called beetle inside of the Retroarch UI.
  11. So are you saying that your work should get priority over the work of other people that make art that you dont personally like? Thats not how this works, it's a open database and users are free to submit any content they like, if it's good enough it will be accepted into the database. Just because you dont like it or want to see it doesnt mean others feel the same, others may not like your work and prefer something else. Choices are good.
  12. Well four images out of what was likely easily 20,000+ downloads isnt bad at all i'd say.
  13. Yes it's a portable app and not actually installed.
  14. If the CHD's were included as well you could be talking about a 700GB download, there is no reason to force a download that big on people, especially as so few working games even need them. Even games like Street Fighter 3 have a "nocd" rom version which doesnt need a CHD to run. You would need the matching version of the emulator, yes. As for updating to that set in Launchbox, i dont even delete my current platform, i just run the importer again pointing at the new rom folder, that way i dont lose any data like favourites i may of made.
  15. Actually that whole thing is a video, they are recorded videos of Hyperspin and are available from emumovies with a paid subscription. They are also only available for Arcade games i believe.
  16. Yes, you need bios files. The bios files should also be in your MAME romset.
  17. Could be your CHD's are wrong, CHD's are versioned just like the roms are, and the further you get away in version the least likely they are to work. Roms and CHD's change over time, and MAME itself knows exactly what file it wants, if those files dont match the game wont run. I would assume any emulator that uses actual MAME files would be the same.
  18. This means you are using a pirated license, please purchase a legitimate license to continue using the program. LaunchBox Premium (launchbox-app.com)
  19. CHD's should be in a folder with the same name as the rom.
  20. Go to Tools/options/priorities and check what you do/dont want and move them up/down the list, in the priority order you want.
  21. You can turn off the need to press it twice in the Retroarch settings, also if you set a button combo to exit in Launchbox you can just hit that controller combo to actually exit retroarch as Launchbox registers you pressed your combo, and then sends escape to Retroarch, no script needed.
  22. Launchbox only imports games that actually work in MAME by default. A MAME romset contains thousands more files than that though, there are tons of games in the set that MAME can't run yet, but hopefully will in the future, if a game is dumped it's in the set regardless of if it's emulatable or not. A MAME romset also contains a bunch of stuff that isnt even games, for example ATM software, calculators, business software, none of which you really want imported to Launcbox. So your MAME romset folder has far more in it than you imported into Launchbox, you simply only got games, and only ones that work.
  23. The list on that screen only shows cores you actually have downloaded, so if it doesnt show in the dropdown you do not have the core, we scan your Retroarch/cores folder to populate the list.
  24. Just re-run the mame importer and point to the new path and uncheck all the media downloads.
