  1. This clearly states the issue and will be completely unrelated to the GPU change. Just sounds like the reicast core changed the files it accepts and yours are no longer supported, and you need to use the MAME roms instead. Im sure its all documented on there wiki, like all the needed files and bios's always are.
  2. Could be you have a different image type specified on that platform. Set a button/key to switch image type and cycle it to see if it shows.
  3. Right click a game, go to edit and then additional apps. You can add other programs here to run before or after the game.
  4. Launchbox is already relatively "lite". When idle it uses 0% of my CPU and less than 2GB of Ram, im not sure what more you could do without completely gutting the program of all its features. That seems pretty pointless as so few resources are used already.
  5. More specifically.......not be a moron, and actually ask a question
  6. Use, non respected third party programs, if you want to be a .....
  7. lol, that statement is just completely incorrect, unless you manually limit a game, either by lowering resolution/graphics settings or limiting the framerate, a GPU should always be at 100%, if it isnt you have something wrong with your setup, or are simply not using the full potential of the GPU, and in that case, you may as well of just got a cheaper, slower GPU if you dont intend to use it for what it was designed for.
  8. Windows needs to be the 64bit version im afraid.
  9. These, You can not keep those there. You should not be storing any extra files in the data folder.
  10. Do you have backups in the launchbox/data/platforms folder, if so you need to remove them, you cant keep backups there.
  11. Remove the keyboard input provider dinput part of the commandline, its not compatible with such a old version of mame that you are using. As for NES have you specified the correct core to use in the associated platform tab for your Retroarch emulator entry.
  12. Just right click the platform in Launchbox and put a sort name in.
  13. Ask on there forums, skraper is nothing to do with us, and in fact we actively tell people not to use it, as it causes nothing but problems for us.
  14. Editing really needs a keyboard and mouse, otherwise it would be really tedious using a onscreen keyboard and a controller to edit text and such. So editing is done in Launchbox only.
  15. I assume it is pcsx2 that actually gives this error and not Launchbox? You would be better off asking this on the pcsx2 forums. Its not a error i have ever seen, and this is is the Launchbox forums, we cant really troubleshoot what are clearly emulator issues that we have no control over.
  16. Then its probably malware bytes if i had to guess, shut it off. We have no control over what third party programs tamper or otherwise interfere with our program. If you find out what is causing it then you need to report it to that programs developers, not us.
  17. Agreed, 1.5GB really is a small amount of ram. I never understand comments when somebody says look at what INSERT PROGRAM NAME HERE uses for Ram or CPU usage, you should want programs to use all the resources they can access, thats the whole point of buying more powerful CPU's or buying more than 4GB of Ram, you want programs to use those resources. If you didnt want that, you would have 2GB of Ram and a 20 year old cheap CPU in your system still. A program using the resources available is a well designed program. I dont expect you complain when a game uses 100% of your GPU, why would any other components be any different?
  18. Also the image you posted yesterday clearly says your kickstarts are missing, so you either have them in the incorrect location, or they are named correctly, but are actually the incorrect files.
  19. Do your games work in Retroarch itself? This should always be your first step, get games working in the emulator correctly before even thinking about Launchbox.
  20. Launchbox gets that info from the mame.exe itself. If the MAME devs consider a game to be unplayable im going to tend to believe that, they know far more than i about how good the actual emulation of a game is. By the way Launchbox imports around 2800 fully working Arcade roms, more than enough to be getting on with, and as i say is exactly how many the MAME devs themselves list as working.
  21. Because software lists are not supported in Launchbox in any capacity.
  22. Again please read my above comment, Launchbox DOES NOT look at your actual files it gets the list from the mame.exe itself.
  23. Well again, if you have used CLR to remove files present in a standard merged set, then that by its very definition is not a fullset anymore. and if you uncheck the skip non working roms then the importer will do just that, it will import all roms from a fullset (including system and bios file), not what you specifically have in your folder. As already stated what files you actually have is irrelevant to the fullset importer, it takes the list of files to import from the mame.exe itself, it has no regard as to if you have personally trimmed your romset, as it doesnt look at it at all. It will simply import all files included in mames internal list, which will include the things you have personally removed.
  24. These two things completely contradict each other, either its a fullset or its not. If its not you shouldnt use the MAME importer at all if its not a complete mame romset. Im going to assume you have non-merged roms, if thats the case simply import your set the normal way with the standard rom importer, that will only import the files in your folder. Just make sure on the last page of the import wizard to check the box to use MAME naming for systems that use mame naming.
