  1. How did you import the Platform, what emulator are you using? What did you name the platform when imported? If you right click a game and go to edit can you show screenshots of the Launching tab and the emulation tab, thanks.
  2. Yes, that is perfectly normal. Images are loaded into ram so that they do not need to be retrieved from a slow mechanical drive every time a new image is needed.
  3. Thats a ancient version of Retroarch.
  4. I dont believe Launchbox supports spinners itself. That doesnt matter though, as long as the emulator does, the Launchbox controls are only for navigating Launchbox itself.
  5. Its a demul issue if i recall, it's just how it is. If i was you id use retroarch for atomiswave.
  6. You know you can make the Game boxes bigger/smaller right, so that it will fill the space completely? There is a slider top right that adjusts the box sizes.
  7. Fixed in the betas. 11.12 Beta Testing - Page 6 - Beta Testing - LaunchBox Community Forums (launchbox-app.com)
  8. The community theme creator wouldn't of worked anyway, you can only import themes to it that were made with it, the default obviously wasn't. I think i might be right in saying that the things you are trying to edit are not editable as they are fundamental to the program, but i may be wrong. I'll tag @Jason Carr and @C-Beats here to see if they can confirm or shine a light on what the issue is.
  9. You can edit the game after import if you want. First google the game on steam and make note of its app ID in the URL, in Mass effects case its "1328670" Then right click the game in Launchbox and go to edit, then the Launching tab and edit what is currently the path to the shortcut on your PC to "steam://rungameid/1328670". Example below, its for a different game, cyberpunk 2077, but its not the steam version this is just for demonstration, but i have added the steam launch command, and i know have the steam icon on a game that isnt in my steam platform. As you can now see i have the steam logo on that game now.
  10. Well, if you dont actually have any steam games then the steam importer is useless to you.
  11. This is completely theme dependant, some will have those some wont. You will need to edit the theme itself to remove those in whatever theme that is.
  12. Version 11.12 - Released ? New Feature: A complete management system has been built for specifying types of supported controllers for games, including a built-in database with known games, full flexibility for customization, and built-in badge images for various controller types. See Tools > Manage Game Controllers and the Controller Support section of the game add/edit screen for details. New Feature: All import processes will now import the games first before downloading any media, allowing you to edit and play them right away New Feature: Media downloads are now saved and resumed when exiting and restarting LaunchBox New Feature: Downloads for different platforms can now be queued up so that multiple platforms can be imported quickly without waiting for all of their media downloads Improvement: Major performance improvements for the actual import processes (not the download parts) Improvement: The Add/Edit Playlist screen has been overhauled Fixed: Potential error in Big Box when switching view types and then navigating too quickly Fixed: For theme developers, the FlowControl SelectedScale property was not working with CoverFactory Fixed: On rare occasions, Epic image downloads were not saving correctly due to inconsistences with game images on Epic's servers Fixed: Errors for some users with the Edit DOSBox Configuration window (introduced in 11.11) Fixed: Rare dispose error with VLC video playback Fixed: Image file names that differ only in case (capitalized vs. uncapitalized) were sometimes not be recognized as different images Fixed: Potential import issues with multiple versions when using drag and drop (introduced in 11.9) Fixed: Rare potential error when populating game images in LaunchBox Fixed: Changes to a game's name or platform wasn't always migrating images to the proper folders (introduced in 11.10) Fixed: Rare potential null reference error when getting game metadata from the local database Fixed: Error when drag/drop import is asked to import a file that no longer exists Fixed: Potential batch EmuMovies media download issues (introduced in 11.11) Fixed: Mouse navigation wasn't always working in Big Box
  13. This is fixed in the betas i believe. Also the importer has changed in the beta, it will import the games first, and then download the media after so that you can do other things while media downloads.
  14. Then you have something else going on. You are the only person to report this, so its much more likely a issue with your specific PC than the program i'm afraid.
  15. I would check your cooling, it could be insufficient and the PC is shutting down when it gets to hot to protect itself.
  16. What exactly are you trying to do, with which emulator, and why? Im just really confused right now, whatever it is you are trying to do i dont believe anyone else has ever asked about before, so it clearly isnt something that is needed by any emulator, maybe if i understood the use case, it would be easier for me to wrap my head around what you are actually asking for here.
  17. Thats a MAME error and is what it says, something is wrong with your plugin.ini.
  18. I dont really understand your question here, but i think you want to add a command line to the emulator? If so Tools/Manage emulators/name of emulator. Of course the emulator in question must be able to understand the command you are using.
  19. You would be better off reporting this in the beta thread. 11.12 Beta Testing - Page 6 - Beta Testing - LaunchBox Community Forums (launchbox-app.com) I am seeing similar though, although different to you. I am logged in in Launchbox and leaderboards show, but in Bigbox i'm not logged in, so i just see the the page for the game in question and the header says RetroAchievements.org Details instead.
  20. The second shot is asking for your profile name, but for some reason you are entering a full URL. Thats not what you were asked to input there, just put klopjero
  21. It depends, you dont state platform or games, so it could just be that they are not in our database.
  22. There is no way to dim as far as i know. You can turn on badges though, that will have a different icon depending on if the game is installed or not.
