My collection is 16TB. All smartly compressed real-time formats for games... I have exodos, win3x, scumm, Flashpoint (although that needs updated badly), and about 2,300 video game mags/comics and I'm still barely over 62k I believe...I think I'm missing some rare platform odd-ball collections mostly.

I didnt see an XML download for this...where is that? That would work. I just want to browse your collection.... You have like 4900 SNES titles! There were only like 800 (US) that were made, so how are you missing ANY? You mean in certain languages or hacks of them?

LaunchBoxMedia

Does this still work with the current version of LaunchBox? -
I'm assuming this collection is not a 1g1r collection (and contains only English except translated games+non-English platforms only), right? Would you be willing to share the complete game list (excel/spreadsheet)? - I have 60k games in mine as per the restrictions above...I'd like to see what I'm missing...

I'm trying to surprise someone with a premium license and a small collection I've made for them to gift them for Christmas, (yes, I'm buying these licenses from the official site, and I was planning on some more this holiday season for more people...maybe), but obviously having my name plastered on the registered licenses is not going to work out; I can't just change the name field in the license and have it still be functional. Is there any planned future support for accomplishing this? I'll just wait until I can bother...this seems like a glaring omission to not allow people to gift licenses...

I don't believe you can launch into specific tables with FX3 without a special license. (unlike FX2), but If you or someone else figures out how and verifies it working, please let me know how. Thanks.

Emudeck is the best way to get stuff like this on the Deck....until an official LB version for it comes out at least; IF it ever does. I have a custom made 16TB LB collection myself. (Taking up 15.5TB of space)...I recommend going big if you're going to do that, haha

I would also love Launchbox/BigBox on the Steamdeck. I'm getting mine in a few days!

I had to replace my phone and lost the registed LaunchBox android version...how do I acquire this again?

Yeah my request was more for an actual editor, somewhat similar to how the media/dupe removal tool looks, where it pops up another window you can type in the genre, a publisher et cetera and it will display a quick list of the games, and allow you to make very rapid bulk changes to multiple games using multiple criteria via one screen. Not really the same experience how it currently is, but thanks.

Filters will allow direct editing/changes to bulk games? I can add several genre tags to multiple games quickly this way? I need to double-check but last time I tried, it was very clunky.
-
I would love an actual genre, series, platform editor that you can choose one of these selections or more (bulk select ftw) and it loads all titles these are all applied to, allowing easy editing, deletion, addition per tag...

Do you have any slots to fill for a remote computer repair/maintenence technician? 🙂

chd compression support PCSX2 (PlayStation 2)
cleverest replied to Your Friendly A.I Overlord's topic in Noobs
Not as CHD. For that you can just create an .m3u file and in one line in the text file itself you simply put the name of each CHD file in sequence, aka Filename1.chd Filename2.chd (No spaces between lines... (My phone won't let me single line space) Then you load that .m3u file as the game in Launchbox so it only sees one file.... -
Yup working now!

So the .7z doesn't fully extract manually with 7zip or WinRAR...it does appear to be all DLL's that have issues.

Just chiming in (sorry I got no logs for you) but I wanted to say that I only run Windows Defender (using win 10).

Good idea. I'll back up my existing settings (I hope) and try that.

I saw on YouTube to "grant Launchbox" write access to the Retroarch folder; it fixed someone's issue having that same problem there...so how do I accomplish this in Windows 10? the Everyone acount, my (admin-level) username I use on my desktop, AND the general admin accounts already have write-access to the folder...what other username am I adding write-access to this folder to make this happen?
-
I'm also getting this error WHEN I try to go to TOOLs > MANAGE > RETROARCH > UPDATE (for my existing Retroarch install). I relaunched Launchbox and made sure all instances are closed as well. My Retroarch installation is NOT inside of my Launchbox\Emulators folder like I see some people do...I prefer it sharing the root of the drive with Launchbox instead..is that how yours is configured? Maybe that is the issue? Mine is: L:\Launchbox L:\Retroarch Those are the two main paths on my hard drive....

I've never heard of these archaic and oddball/rare systems...anyone have a link to a guide on how to set any of these up in LaunchBox?
