  1. Interesting, but it seems to happen mostly with box-fronts.
  2. This is hands-down my favorite theme. It's great! One thing I wish was different - and let me know if I'm in the minority - I wish the gameplay / video game theme boxes were a little bigger. It seems okay when just viewing gameplay footage, but it seems pretty small for the game theme videos.
  3. I should also mention, i'm choosing 2nd option - only add or fill in missing media - not replace
  4. Can someone explain this? Let's say I highlight all the games on a platform, NES for example. I run "download media / metadata". As it's running I can see that certain media is downloading; it's indicated under the progress bar. Then, I run it again, and this time additional media is downloaded. What's going on? Is it skipping items the first time? Is it downloading alternate covers the second time? Any help would be appreciated?
  5. Hey Folks, I'm trying to figure out which platforms actually have a decent amount of game theme videos created? I know that most of the platform video themes are pretty well-represented, but not individual games. I see SNES, MAME, NES have quite a few game theme videos. Are there others? For example, I was surprised to find that the Atari 2600 doesn't see to have any available. Unless I'm looking in the wrong places. Additionally, does anyone cheat and copy game theme videos from one platform and use them on another? I can imagine that would work pretty well SNES and the Genesis? Finally, if I wanted to create my own, what software would be best for this? Thoughts?

  7. I must admit, I feel like an idiot. I do have an account, but I still can't find these elusive files on the site. I would greatly appreciate a link, and so would my crying baby upstairs that I am neglecting.
  8. Those systems are supported, in terms of logos and styles - but the videos don't come with the theme, nor are they available through the platform media download in unified style.
  9. Does anyone know if there are unified videos for some of the more obscure systems? Like Casio Loopy or Epoch Super Cassette?
  10. interesting. Any sensor bar suggestions? I can only put it below the screen. When you say level, what do you mean?
  11. Hi folks, Wondering if anyone has experience with this? I've got LB set up in my basement through a projector. It's been great, but now I'm curious about playing some classic gun games. I've heard so much conflicting information, and am pretty confused. Ideally, I'd like to play old Nes, Snes, mame, Dreamcast and PS games. What would be the best way to accomplish this? Any gun hardware suggestions?
  12. Hi Folks, Looking for some help mapping my xbox 360 controller through retroarch to play n64 first person shooters. I can't figure out how to make it workable. I'd like the left stick to controller movement direction (up= forward / left = strafe left) and the right stick to controller viewing direction. Is this possible? Thanks for the help.
  13. Solved, erased the cfg in retroarch mame saves. Thanks guys
  14. sorry to be annoying, but I am bumping for some help.
  15. Hi Folks, Could really use some help. I'm using Mame through Retroarch. Everything was fine until last week. I'm not sure what I did, but now whenever I load a Mame game, the controls don't respond. To be more specific, I'm using a PS4 controller. Select and Start seem to work. I can load credits. But the directional pad, stick, or buttons don't respond. I tried to press TAB to go into MAME controls, but then the Mame menu appears, but I can't move up or down through the menu with the controller or with the arrow keys on my keyboard. I can only press TAB to get out of the menu. Assistance would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
  16. I think I agree, the spin wheel is cute but not what I was looking for
  17. Ok, I didn't get to try it yet (thanks DOS76), but I found that when I disconnected my ps 4 controller and turned it off, the 360 could be configured.
  18. I've been having the same problem for quite a while. I can't get my xbox 360 controller or my ps4 controller to work. For that reason, I'm beginning to think something else is the culprit. I've found numerous posts about this issue all over the internet, but no solution. I did find values to replace the ini file but they only partially worked (d-pad only). Any suggestions would be appreciated - but even better- I would really appreciate the data for dreamcast and arcade INI settings (paddemul.ini) for both a ps4 controller and a xbox 360.
  19. Hey Folks, I have a split set of Mame 185 set up in Launchbox. I downloaded a Split set - Mame189. I know I should have just gotten update packs, but I didn't. Is there a smooth way to update using whole split sets. Related question - is it worth updating? Thanks,
  20. Thanks for the help. I tried both suggestions - but good news - I reinstalled Launchbox over my install - and it kept everything and is working great again!
  21. Hi Folks, I love Launchbox and started making good progress installing multiple platforms and games. Everything was going fine until this morning. I already installed Arcade, multiple Atari consoles, Super Nintendo, and WonderSwan with no problems. This morning I tried to install my Genesis library, and when it had completed and I tried to launch Big Box, it crashed Launchbox and won't open Big Box. It is possible that I adjusted something minor in between last night and today and don't know what it was (I did move certain media files - manuals, images, and videos) to another drive - but I've been doing that all along with no problem. I've since deleted the Genesis platform, but still no luck. So now, Launchbox starts with no problems. Games load without any problems. But when I try to Launch Big Box from within Launchbox, it crashes Launchbox, I see a very brief working symbol (Windows blue swirl) and then nothing. I don't see it in task manager either. When I try to Launch Big Box from outside of Launchbox, nothing loads either - but it doesn't crash Launchbox. Launchbox stays open. I'm on Windows 10, pretty new machine. Large library but using SSD for Launchbox and media folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Update - I installed another instance of Launchbox on another drive and test imported one game - and Big Box works fine. So clearly I messed up something on the other installation. If all else fails, how can I move my library (not the actual roms), media, and playlists over to this new installation of Launchbox?
