Hey all, it's that time again. We're hoping to release both LaunchBox 11.16 on the desktop and LaunchBox 0.34 for Android (yes, it's coming back) early next week. :)

We would really appreciate some translation updates, if you can fit it in. Thanks as always for all your work.

Hello, I'll be carrying on the polish localization since (from my understanding) the previous translator is not active for about two years now. I already got the program but could you explain please how can I resume from what was done before. The archive with the translation that was provided for the download on the first page only contains resx files while the application requires completely different format.

Thank you @wooshaq, sounds great. Unfortunately I don't think I ever received any half-completed files from @wirtual82 (let me know if I'm wrong @wirtual82). You would need to get the files from him in order to resume his work. Otherwise, you'd basically be starting from the beginning (which is fine, but of course would be more work).

If you read the first few posts at the beginning of this topic, it has full instructions as far as how to get started. Once you're done, you can upload the translation files here, and then I will compile them into a release.

From what I saw previous translator was active on a forum for a whole day, so assuming he didn't translate a single line may I start with the achieve from the first post, does it contain all the most recent strings?

Indeed, yes it does. You should be good to go. :)

No problem, I'm slowly working on it.

Three questions though:

1. Polish strings file is empty, there is nothing to translate, is it normal? I'm working on English string files for now.

2. Is there any way to export all the string from each file into excel from Zeta? It is grayed out.

3. Can I checked my already translated files in launchbox myself?

You'll need to read the first few posts of this topic in more detail; it sounds like you're not following the steps from the first few posts. You need to open up one set of files at a time. For example, open both the English Strings file and the Polish strings file.

I'm not aware of a way to export things to Excel; I haven't really played with it though.

Unfortunately in order to check the strings in LaunchBox itself, the only way to do it is for you to give me the translation files, and then I can compile them into a beta release.

But the polish side does not even have a matching strings I could edit. Would't be possible for me to translate the English file altogether and later change the locale name from English to polish?
