jasonparks4
I hope that you can assist or perhaps point me in the right direction. I'm looking to set up Pinball FX2 within lunchbox. I kind of feel like it's a dead issue. Many have attempted but ultimately scrap the idea. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

jasonparks4
Thanks in advance. Currently I have the new Pinball platform created, I have to pointing to the Pinball FX2 exe file. I manually imported each table. However I can't seem to figure out how to open tables individually. As of now when I select a table from within Launchbox ,the Pinball FX exe opens but doesn't open the individual table. Do you know of any command lines to accomplish this? Or am I simply overthinking and overlooking something?
rexryan
If i remember I had that same problem..I had to get a latter version of FX2 that launched individual tables.
Lordmonkus
Make sure the "Use file name only without extension" box is checked in the Emulator Details tab of the Edit Emulator window for your Pinball FX "emulator". No other command line parameters or anything needed. 3

rtavani
im having the same issue yet this thread didnt answer the question, how can i set up launchbox to directly launch pinball fx game tables (and not simply go to the pinball fx main menu)? tks
dragon57
@rtavani, have you requested a cabinet support key from Zen Studios yet? If not, you need to either click the icon inside FX2, or go here: https://blog.zenstudios.com/?page_id=5981
rtavani
i have a code, found something which was used for FX2. just a pain as you need to go into each game in launchbox to change the settings. Seems to be working now

I setup up PopCap, and Pinball in one night, mostly by referring to posts nearly a year old now. Thanks for being such an asset to the LaunchBox community! Lordmonkus
From my experience it all depends on which version of Pinball FX you are using, some support command line loading of tables and some don't.

neil9000
Its probably been answered above, but with FX2 you need a cabinet code from the devs to load specific tables. Then just import the .pbx tables as roms setting the fx2.exe as the emulator.
