Previously for PC games I would drag and drop them into my windows pc games folder and it would launch with no problems. Now when I try to to launch a new pc game added it says there is no associated emulator even though its an .exe? Edit** Figured out emulator is now automatically checked so I have to go in and now manually uncheck emulator. Defiantly easier to just drag and drop like before?? We've confirmed this is indeed a bug and will get this fixed up, thanks for flagging this 25 minutes ago, Retrofrogg said: Any progress with the import wizard bug @AstroBob? If you're talking about the import wizard incorrectly asking you to specify a core, even when a default one is set, then yes it's our list and we are working to get that one fixed up

The team are looking into this now." The problem was that the "scan for added roms" feature wasn't picking up the added roms (but was behaving as though it had). Sorry, I know there's a lot to keep track of! Edited December 30, 2024 by Retrofrogg

Lots of bugs in my head That one is already fixed, I was using this as intended just yesterday. Though looking through the release notes I don't see any entry for it, so it's possible we missed that. Apologies if that's the case, but this should be working at expected again on 13.18. Let me know if you notice otherwise

Retrofrogg
It is indeed fixed - but it does seem that scanning for new roms (at least from a local NAS), takes quite a long time.

Thanks for confirming. There shouldn't be any change to the code that touches scan imports, though if you feel there is a big difference between versions it would be great if you can open a new thread with any repro steps to help us look into it. eonder87 Posted yesterday at 08:09 PM Share Posted yesterday at 08:09 PM I've found fresh installs slower than updated ones, and it's truly affecting them too much. Nearly 10 seconds. Please try again, and please don't skip this one. All installs are fresh installs not using older builds. I Installed the 13.18 version, and the boot time took nearly 15 seconds. After I installed the 13.2 version, I saw nearly 1.5 seconds. I've updated my freshly installed 13.2 to 13.18, and the boot time takes 2 seconds, not 15 or 10 seconds. Please don't skip this and please try. It affects your program. @Jason Carr @AstroBob @faeran
Retrogamer4423 Posted yesterday at 08:28 PM Share Posted yesterday at 08:28 PM I tried it and it's really amazing man. When I updated the old version to 13.18, I saw that launchbox opens very fast. However, when I downloaded and installed 13.8, there is a delay of about 15 seconds with m2 ssd. 19 minutes ago, eonder87 said: Yeni kurulumların güncellenenlerden daha yavaş olduğunu gördüm ve bu onları gerçekten çok etkiliyor.
