Arcade 3D Boxes 2.0

I was inspired by the Mame 3D Boxes by @Robin55 and @Reevesad and the work by @spycat and @MadK9 

At first I experimented to convert Robin's work to a darker color as it fits my dark colored setup better, one thing let to another and was helped enormously by @Robin55 in the process of automation and more, if it wasn't for all his help and work this project wouldn't have happened, thanks again so much brother! \m/

The 3D boxes are mostly for the Mame set (could include other emulators as well) but only includes Arcade video games, no pinball, fruit machines and such.

Features:

  • Covers based on official flyers, instruction flyers or fan art, customized official artwork and more. I've hunted down previously artwork missing from databases and/or very rare flyers, original resolution of these images can be low some times.
  • Each box has a logo for the game, if it was missing I've hunted it down or extracted it from images (I upload these logos to the database as well)
  • Each box has a logo of the company that either developed or published it (some flyers may have a different publisher from another region, bit confusing at times)
  • Each box is manually color corrected, cleaned and optimized
  • Some games have a second alternative version, made from cabinet side art, marquees or from a different region for example

Please remember if you miss boxes to also check the naming convention of the file and if it is the same as the most recent version in the database. Any entry with "The" in front (Like The Astyanax) will be included in the QRST pack.
NOTE! : After installing the images you have to select all (or any alphabetical range) arcade games (CTRL+A = select all) go to Tools and click 'Refresh selected images', let it load and cache and the games should now display the right 3D boxes.

Could you make the box 3d flyer of Cadillacs and Dinosaur as the one of the image that I leave next?

As I think you mentioned before, you'll sort out the missing ones at the end. 

I've just dumped your 3D boxes into my Launchbox image folders and have a few missing. i'm just going to compile a missing list and wait till you've finished them all, as it could be naming issues on some. looks all good though.

I like the way the 3d boxes have been done on this Pic. I'm now thinking it would look great to make one for each console/system as a background picture/startup screen.mmmmm??!

Throw in as many boxes as possible to fit on one screen.

Sorry to say but the time frame will be stretched, got some health and other issues going on the side which will delay the project some what, not to say it will take a year longer though but perhaps weeks longer, it is hard to say. I try to do as much work as I can each day but it will take some more time, some packs have less media than others, like the letter M is quite large and a bit messy, gotta keep the quality constant and sometimes logos differ so much in color or style with the flyer I just need to cut out the logo from the flyer to make it look like a serious box, I rather spend more time on it than make it look half decent.

Superb, was waiting for your next instalment. Just got your 3d box art and I'm all done with my Big box Build. All media will be sorted. 

I'm trying to upload about 360 new bezels for MAME and I just keep getting upload failed message. so bloody annoying.

Thanks brother! Maybe the servers are too busy atm because of the new update? I dont know how large your upload is but mine was around 500 or 600 mb, went downstairs to do something else while it was uploading and it was done when I came back.

Theres many missing boxes which I still have to do, takes some research finding missing art and making art for those that dont have any. But it could be less than half way, not sure yet, the mame jungle is a big and mysterious landscape.

  •  Added pack "TUVWXYZ" (remember: missing boxes will be updated through update packs in the future) Enjoy! ? Next up are the update packs for missing boxes.

Tip!: I noticed in my setup that games starting with "The" (examples: The Adventures of Robby Roto, The Amazing Adventures of Mr. Flea)  where not showing up as 3D boxes after caching, if you experience the same do the following: In Launchbox, select all arcade games (CTRL+A) go to Tools and click 'Refresh selected images', let it load and the games should now display the right boxes.
