  1. We've had some users report similar issues with games not appearing. I need to devise a good way to debug the API call for some of the users experiencing this but currently I cannot do this without the users credentials (which I don't feel comfortable asking for or having). Before the next beta release I am hoping to get some more logs added into the Epic code to see if we can figure out why users are having this issue and if it is on our end or Epic's.
  2. Yes. Just point the installer to the same directory LaunchBox is already in and it will overwrite what it needs to.
  3. Both are kind of already in. Music file supports a m3u (playlist) and you can have pdf additional apps that show as a manual in Big Box. I understand where you are getting at though.
  4. You have to hit the revert and then hit ok, let it save the default settings and then open it again. If that doesn't work PM me your Settings.xml file and what priorities it is that you want on and we can see about forcing it in.
  5. Not seen that issue in a few releases. You can get rid of that issue by hitting the revert to default. Then hit OK and let it save, then go back into options and change it back to what you want. After that should work like it did before.
  6. I'd have to look at your data files to get any real idea what was going on. Wanted to make sure you weren't doing more work than you had to with those games you are manually adding though. I personally would go to your Windows platform (or where ever you put your Steam games) and then add a game (can right click and hit "Add"). When adding one of these games just put that steam path in the Application path (Launching page) and the games Title in. After putting the title in search for metadata and match it if possible. Just hit OK after that. Do the same for any more games you need to add. Then sort that platform by "Date Added" pick all the games you just added and then go to Tools -> Download Metadata and Media and let that run against the 5 of them. All data should then populate for you from both Steam and LB Games DB
  7. Tool already has that option. It is the "Move Checked Files to Folder" button.
  8. Also what all was your plugin TRYING to do? May give us insight as to why or how you are seeing what you are seeing.
  9. Right click, context menu appears that says Check or Uncheck selected rows.
  10. In the options you have video priorities now similar to image priorities. Check that they are in the order you want. Would assume video snap is before theme.
  11. Yeah, Video Snaps need to be placed in the root of the Platforms Video folder, Themes in the Theme folder under that folder, Recordings in Recording, and Trailer in Trailer. Similar to how you see folders for the various video types in the Images folder.
  12. Nah I mis-typed. When adding the video to the edit screen. Does it get added to that same folder?
  13. When you add the game to the Edit screen does it save the video in that directory correctly?
  14. So in 10.15 you had that video set as the games Video Path in the edit screen? That isn't the platforms default video folder, so the process wouldn't look in that folder. Also is the path longer than 255 characters?
  15. Can you post the name of one of the games, and then the name of the video file that isn't associated correctly?
  16. 11.1 beta fixes it for a very specific subset of games (namely ones ending in a hyphen followed by numerals)
  17. All games that had the video path specifically set should still have those path set in the new screen. The screen also looks in the platforms video folder for any games starting with the title of the game (a few characters are turned to underscores for the file to save properly). If the videos are named correctly LaunchBox should still see them.
  18. Do you have any games imported yet?
  19. Can just combine them all to the same game called "Tales of Monkey Island" and have each episode as an additional app in that game entry named "Episode 1", "Episode 2", etc. Then you can use the same video for all of them. What I typically do for my episodic games.
  20. LaunchBox should try to auto associate screenshots to the last game you launched via LaunchBox (or Big Box), regardless of whether it is still open or not.
  21. Box Art images in the DB are official release box art, if they have DVD-ROM on the release box, then it belongs in the image. I personally don't like those images for my collection either so I use Steam Posters or images I can find on SteamGridDB.
  22. Typically that is caused by some one or thing closing LaunchBox incorrectly and the XML save gets cut off corrupting the file. If it is saying that specific file is the corrupt one you can always delete it. Doing so will revert all settings to default though and you will have to reset everything to the way you had it. That file is LaunchBox settings so your Big Box specific stuff shouldn't be affected for the most part.
  23. I can confirm what you are seeing and will look into the cause. In the meantime as a work around you can simply drag and drop the shortcut you wish to add over to LaunchBox and it will being up an import wizard, follow the steps similar to how you were already importing. When getting to the file list the .lnk files will show up and not their targets.
