Aaaaand the next bezel set that gets too much cropping by the mask_hor.png file (NES-mask still leaves too much of the TV surrrounding): PCE-CD.
-
Thanks - perfect fit! I just noticed that one since the NES bezels got a major update this week. If users report scaling issues I recommend 19:14 instead of 4:3 - this should exactly frame the game screen (not for NES but the other packs 19:14 works for most consoles).

Thanks for the reply! I think there may have been a small misunderstanding about the issue I'm seeing. I'm already using RetroArch's scaling options, but the problem isn't the scaling itself — it's the bezel tv surrounding removing mask. The bezel tv surrounding removing mask cuts off a few pixels from the actual bezel image on the left and right sides. So the goal isn't to resize the emulator output — it's simply to slightly shorten the transparent area of the overlay mask so it matches the NES bezel image width more accurately.

Thanks! Can you do another one for NES? The standard bezel overlay cuts off too many pixels at the edges (more than the "E" in Entertainment System is cut off for example)

Zaccaria Pinball 110 Tables - Settings for Launchbox
totoro replied to marcosgaming's topic in Troubleshooting
Thanks for this tutorial - I've added a lot of new tables to the zip as the game got new tables. I've just created txt-files based on this guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2545556227 - so just keep looking for new entries there and create txt-files if they are missing. Hello everyone, I recently noticed that the Mega LD / Pioneer LaserActive is not listed in the LaunchBox Games Database. This is a bit of a shame, as it's an interesting system with a unique library of games that should not be overlooked. Additionally, it is now possible to emulate the system via Ares Emulator, which makes it even more relevant for those interested in preserving and enjoying these games in LaunchBox. I wanted to ask if there's any way to have this platform added to the database, so users who own the system can properly manage and access its games. Is this something that can be added to the database? Or could someone with experience managing the database look into adding it? Thanks in advance for any help or guidance!

Ok, I've found the solution. I think Retroarch changed some dependencies to make the script work. You don't need additional script lines to point the emulator to the Super Game Boy rom anymore. Instead Super Game Boy roms are handled like a bios file. Here is how I fixed it: 1. Make sure your legit "Super Gameboy 2 (Japan).sfc"-file is sitting in the "\RetroArch\system" folder. 2. Rename "Super Gameboy 2 (Japan).sfc"-file (or whatever name you got for it) to "SGB2.sfc". (Super Game Boy 2 is overall a better choice then the SGB1, due to its clock speed. But if you insist on using the first version, you do the same for that rom and rename it to "SGB1.sfc". 3. Delete ANY Extra Command-Line Parameters from your emulator settings (if you followed the tutorial in my first post you should have set up Retroarch Super Game Boy Versions with bsnes_libreto and some command lines - these need to be deleted. 4. Boot up in Launchbox, everything should work now like before. 🙂

An update on Launchbox or Retroarch must have broken Super Game Boy emulation somewhen around this or last year. Zipped game boy roms won't load at all, unzipped roms load the Super Game Boy rom in Retroarch. I already did the setup a long time ago and all my Super Game Boy roms worked fine with this default command line: "E:\LaunchBox\Roms\Nintendo Super Nintendo\Super Gameboy 2 (Japan).sfc" -L "cores\bsnes_libreto.dll" --subsystem sgb This is still working in my last backup build from December 2023; Version 13.8. I´ve also watched this tutorial and noticed some command lines changed, but I got the same result. No paths got changed, no configs got changed on my side. I tried to copy my old retroarch cores dll and configs into the actual build, but no success. So I guess something else broke this, please have a look into this.

Hey, I've noticed none of these masks fit on Atari Jaguar bezels. Would you be so kind to add another "special case" for this system?

Thanks for the guide. I was only interested in setting up MK GP 2 out of curiousity. A few steps are missing though: Your controller needs to be setup BEFORE changing it to Triforce AM Baseboard. I've also needed to add these configs for Mario Kart GP 2 for example: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Mario_Kart_Arcade_GP_2 Some of these cheats make the game crash. Here is a video that helped a lot to figure it out: On MK GP 2 I have the "random stretching" issues on forced 4:3 as well, no idea how to fix this.

I'm also looking for a way to boot up CD games. Elm Knight for example. I booted it up with the cmd np2kai "Elm Knight - A Living Body Armor.hdi" "Elm Knight - A Living Body Armor.ccd" but I get message to insert the CD after a short loading segment. Other games seem to be "silent" not playing the tracks, Appareden or Blandia 98 for example.

Hi, I´ve noticed the games mixed up with the eXoDOS-installation folder. I got only one Launchbox built and merged my own stuff, eXoDOS and C64 Dreams. How can this be fixed?
