  1. I think the Rocket Launcher plugin for LaunchBox needs modified to support the playlists. I haven't done any development on that Rocket Launcher plugin (it was done by the Rocket Launcher guys). I'd be happy to help, but I probably can't dive into their code on my own.
  2. I'll look into this.
  3. This has been fixed for the next beta.
  4. I'm working on this issue for the next beta (platforms showing up in two different places by default, or not showing up in the correct places by default).
  5. Sorry for this; that's not by design. I'll look into why they're showing up by default in both locations. Depending on your collection, platforms should migrate to one place or the other when you upgrade, but not both. I'll look into it.
  6. Can you explain exactly the BB video lag issue? Exactly where is it lagging? Feel free to PM me your data as well, and I can dive into that particular area to troubleshoot. It might be difficult without your media though. I don't think I changed anything to improve LB performance for beta 3, other than fix some bugs, so maybe there's a bug in there somewhere that is causing the performance issues.
  7. I believe the Clean Up Images process should remove those stray folders. Let me know if not. I plan to add an option to do the same for videos and other media types in the future.
  8. Nested names will be displayed when in the nested platform category view, but the unique name will be displayed in other views. I assume that's what you're seeing? Unless you're in the nested platform categories view, you otherwise can't tell what it is without the unique name.
  9. Hi Dan, do I have your data? I thought I did but I'm not seeing it in my PMs. Can you zip up and PM me your LaunchBox\Data folder? I'll look into the 0 counts. It's not supposed to be counted twice with the new betas, but depending we may have to revert on that if it proves to be a performance issue.
  10. Thanks; this error has been fixed for the next beta.
  11. Hi @deliyuerek85, using your data that you sent me on September 24th, I am seeing games in all of those date-based playlists with beta 3: Are you sure something didn't change in your collection or the playlists to filter them out? Otherwise, maybe it's a culture/date issue that I need to address. I am able to replicate the playlists not sorting correctly issue, so I will get that fixed.
  12. If there are playlists listed under a platform, it should show the playlists (and not any games) when you open up the platform (assuming you're in Platform Category view in Big Box). Is there more than one playlist under that platform, or only one? We may have an issue yet when there's only one sub-item, though I thought that was resolved. Also, what theme are you running?
  13. Thank you @mviars; this has been fixed for the next beta.
  14. Thank you guys. We have a Lost your license? page here: https://www.launchbox-app.com/premium/lost-license You can put in your email address there and it will re-send your license key email. It appears that someone was putting in random emails there for some reason. The good news is that the emails are from us and are safe. I'm still researching to see if we can prevent something like that in the future, but there's no major concern here as far as I can tell.
  15. Thank you Fisty! Great to hear. I should check out Galcon Fusion; I haven't seen it.
  16. It's currently mouse/touchscreen, but I may add controller support in the future.
  17. So my nights and weekends for the past few months have been absorbed by this: Aero Islands is out now for Android and Windows 10, and will be coming to iOS and the regular Windows desktop shortly. I also plan to release it for Mac and Linux eventually. Here's the description on the Play store: It's been really fun to develop, but I must admit that it was way more involved than I ever expected. It feels really good to finally get it released. 18. I suppose it could be a glitch in the MAME audit. That's all I can figure. But yeah, if it runs, it runs.
  19. Yes, pre-caching everything is always better. The Big Box cache is a disk cache only; there is no RAM cache for Big Box (nor is there a RAM cache for LaunchBox anymore now that we got rid of the OG interface). The only disadvantage to pre-caching everything is the disk space required.
  20. Not currently, unfortunately. I believe that's the first I've heard of the request. We might add an option for that eventually if it becomes a more popular request.
  21. That just simply isn't true. Not exactly sure what you're getting at there. Sure, which I assume is still controller-related.
  22. Hey all, just to clarify a few things here: - We've done a huge amount of testing and experimentation in the past with the controller code, and it does seem like controllers somehow behave more poorly on some systems than others. However, we haven't been able to identify what causes it. It is true that controllers are just inherently slightly more intensive to use than the keyboard, so if your system is already being pushed to the limits, then it can happen. That said, I still have yet to see it happen on any of my numerous machines (unfortunately), so I'm at a loss. - One huge area of confusion is the background cache. It is important to note that Big Box can be sluggish if it's still caching things in the background. On fast systems it's usually not very noticeable, but if your hardware is being pushed, you're best bet is to just bite the bullet and pre-populate the cache, which will remove that as a performance issue. You can pre-populate the cache by going to Options > Image Cache in Big Box. Most stutters are related to this (at least ones that aren't controller-specific).
  23. Strange. I don't see any emails that came in from you. We'll get you squared away here on the forums then.
  24. Have you not received a response from us @hobodotoza?
  25. Without the image cache, LaunchBox would be extremely sluggish due to the typical large size of images that are downloaded from the LaunchBox Games Database. So turning the disk cache off completely is not possible. If you're low on space, I would suggest removing any image types that you don't need, and then clearing out the cache.
