  1. Hi @Dan, that probably would be a good idea. I'll add that to my list, though unfortunately I can't make it a high priority currently.
  2. This is something on my list to address, though I am slightly afraid of the performance implications of fixing it.
  3. Not sure why this might be, but it seems to be working fine for people. Did you run the Download Metadata and Media wizard?
  4. I see. The way it's supposed to work is that the music is supposed to play once the game is selected, and then when you go into the game details page it should just keep playing. Is the music playing when it's first selected (before going to the details)? Does it stop after that?
  5. Please create a separate post and we can help you out. That's not likely a bug; we'll also need more information on what emulator you're using and your emulator configuration.
  6. Thanks, @Einherjar. Yes, this is an issue, but there's not a lot we can do about it, outside of guesswork. There's no way to identify a game between LaunchBox and Retro Achievements other than via the name of the game. So if we can't identify a match by guessing, then we're basically out of luck. The only other option would be to allow you to manually match them up, which may be a possibility going forward.
  7. Yes, it backs up every time a new save is made (when a change has been made) of a particular file, which is pretty much how it should work. I have no idea why an emulator would ever just disappear from LaunchBox, but since that hasn't ever been reported by anyone else before, I'm guessing there's something we're just not understanding here.
  8. What views and themes specifically are you using?
  9. Most definitely. Also, for all the folks not yet using LaunchBox.
  10. I want Crying Tom Cruise as our mascot for LaunchBox.
  11. Looks amazing @ray233. I can certainly answer any specific questions, though sadly my schedule would not allow building the theme from scratch myself. Hopefully one of our awesome theme developers will be interested in helping though. You could chime in on this thread here and get some attention to the post:
  12. Have you guys tried the 7.15 release (just came out today)? I did fix a related bug. LaunchBox currently should work properly on multi-monitor setups with different resolutions and DPI settings, but may not be perfect when dragging between different monitors with different DPI settings. Please let me know any specific issues you guys are still seeing with 7.15.
  13. I did fix a similar issue for multi-monitor setups with different resolutions for 7.15, which came out today, so I expect that will resolve your issue @Lulicious60.
  14. Do you mean platforms metadata? I *think* it will already do this if you just Download Metadata and Media for that platform.
  15. Yes, this is by design, though I can see how you might want it to work for Windows games. At the time, the thought was that Windows games shouldn't ever really move to new locations, though with relative paths the paths can change, so that makes sense.
  16. There's unfortunately still a bug in the retroachievements.org API. Scott over there is working on a fix for it. Sega Genesis and Master System and I think one other platform are affected.
  17. Hmm, okay. I'm still testing on my various machines over here. I'll see if I can replicate anything there, though I've been using the platform categories in my current testing and haven't found anything yet. I did fix a very rare but possible crash bug before this official release that had to do with prioritize music over video audio; do you have that enabled?
  18. And the official release is out.
  19. Sure. The black screen thing is definitely CPU-load related. I may just need to put in a slightly greater delay. Per the details, I'm not sure what the discrepancy would be there. Previously it was always stopped for me when returning from details, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't have been for you, but who knows. I'll come back to that at some point.
  20. You mean after the update?
  21. That's been the case for a while; it's not a new thing. Though I agree that I should put it on the to-do list to change.
  22. Hiding behind the beard and the hair is a real thing.
  23. Yup, just check the box in the LaunchBox options under General > Updates and restart.
  24. I will be at some point @Porl Hendy. Just taking a break. Kinda got burned out because I'm a hermit at heart. You'll never take me away from my code though.
  25. Yup, retro achievements are in Big Box. Look in Keyboard Mappings/Controller Buttons. This was fixed in beta 15, per the above. I just put out beta 16 to fix another issue with music not playing. I introduced that bug in beta 15 while fixing another problem late in the game. Hopefully this'll be the release candidate...
