  1. Certainly. I have a pretty big list of theme changes to do first though.
  2. Hi @cleverest, we're going to be adding proper plugin support very soon, so maybe you can hop in on that direction soon! I always recommend starting with either Visual Basic or C#. C++ is a bit too antiquated and difficult these days; you're much better off with .NET.
  3. Hey all, this seems to be a rare issue, but an issue nonetheless. Email is unfortunately a finicky beast and we're doing pretty well with it, but every once in a while someone does run into an issue. Looking at our email stats, it looks like around 3% of the emails end up getting delayed. Anyways, if you run into trouble, please email us at support@unbrokensoftware.com and we can send you a link.
  4. Hey all, I'm hoping to make significant progress on this next week, once I get back from Colorado.
  5. Hi @gerllaz, this is not known to be an issue so I'm guessing there's just a problem with the configuration. Try watching ETA Prime's tutorial on SNES9x here:
  6. Locking this thread. Please see @Grila's new thread here:
  7. Wow, Martin! That spinning disc thing especially is super cool. It's so great to be surprised by cool stuff like that. I think you just made the news for this week.
  8. Thanks @EazyCheeze1978; I still hope to tackle that this week, if not very soon.
  9. I see; I hear you guys. My apologies for not being on the same page as you all. What we've done is certainly a good first step in that direction, but we do still have some work to do to support fully customizable nested wheels. As always, I am hesitant because I'm afraid it might make things over-complicated, so when we implement it we need to come up with a good solution so that it's not confusing. That said, I can certainly see the benefits. We'll get there.
  10. My apologies @Wattoo, that is indeed still on my list and in my plans. I just forgot to get that done for 7.9. We will definitely make that happen though.
  11. Thanks guys. Yup, please email support@unbrokensoftware.com @frankieboyo and Kirsten can hook you up. I'm traveling right now so I can't jump on it for the moment.
  12. @DJQuad This all makes sense, though to be completely honest it still does seem more complicated than necessary to me. I'm sure we'll get these features in eventually, but especially now that the poll is out I don't know that it will be a focus for the immediate future. My mind can always be changed by thoughts of the community though, of course.
  13. @hoosier1, did the Windows 10 Creator's Update just install for you recently by chance? I ask because a few people have been seeing issues with DirectX in the creator's update. Outside of that unfortunately I don't really have any other ideas other than to make sure that your video drivers are all the way up to date. You might also want to download and install DirectX 9.0c from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=34429 I'm unsure of how LaunchBox or Big Box would ever interfere with an emulator; this is the first time I've ever heard of that happening, so I would think it has to be a driver issue of some sort, or some kind of weird issue with DirectX or maybe even the .NET Framework 4.6.2. You could also try reinstalling the .NET Framework if you're on an OS that isn't Windows 10.
  14. FYI guys, I've been playing with .NET 4.7 today, and I am seeing some exciting performance increases in Big Box, mostly just stuff that helps to smooth out the graphics and transitions. Unfortunately we can't update to .NET 4.7 quite yet, because Microsoft doesn't have it out for anything but the Windows 10 Creator's Update at this point, but it is going to come out for everything Windows 7 and up, so we will be able to update to it in a month or two. It's good to see that MS has added more performance improvements for WPF though.
  15. Gotta say, I've been wanting exactly that recently on the GPD Win. So that's sweet.
  16. It actually varies between the Windows Media Player and VLC playback engines. The main issue is it's just really tricky to get both engines to behave exactly the same and exactly how we want. I don't think it has to do with DPI because even with a single DPI we have the same issues. I'm planning on getting back to this stuff early next week though.
  17. DPI scaling actually depends on the theme. By default the XAML theming engine will obey DPI scaling, but with the default theme we actually have overrides in place to ignore it (because we wanted everything to be big regardless of DPI). I agree that we need more options to control it though.
  18. I don't really have that defined yet lol. I know we need parental controls but that's about it for now. We'll have to dive into it as a community when we tackle it.
  19. Yeah, for the most part, it should detect the new games. Although deleting and re-adding the playlists is a safer bet, it's most likely not necessary. However, if you had extra non-arcade games in the playlists, then you would definitely want to delete the playlists and re-run the process.
  20. That makes perfect sense @SNAK3ATER; I don't believe I ever added the playlist clear logo support to the custom themes. I'll put that on my list though; definitely excited to see more views for the theme!
  21. Great to hear that we have this figured out guys; good work, and thank you very much. I'll probably put this topic in the newsletter email that goes out just to keep people informed on potential problems and solutions.
  22. Yup, just a matter of right-clicking on them in the side bar in LaunchBox. It's been too long for me to remember exactly what you mean about the wheels, but we haven't made any major changes to them recently.
  23. Yeah, that's definitely something I've been wanting to do for a while; we'll probably get it on the upcoming poll. @Grila Stellar as always. I can't wait for this theme.
  24. Have you tried downgrading until Microsoft gets it all ironed out? Supposedly that is an option according to MS.
  25. Yes. It's the controller automation features (which are actually not done by AutoHotkey at all anymore) that are premium-only.
