  1. Yeah, there's a lot of sad things going on in the US lately (not to hate on the US, sad things happen everywhere). Agreed.
  2. Sure, I can understand that. There is certainly a difference between looking out for safety (trying to predict if someone is going to be a problem) and judging people. It's definitely possible for us to love someone while at the same time doing our best to assess whether they're dangerous and protecting ourselves. Knowing you, Clive, I've definitely seen your character as one of empathy and love; I don't think I've ever seen you judge anyone before.
  3. Hi Cid, I just added two new properties to the filters view models: Notes and Details. So you should be able to add text blocks like this: <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=Notes}" /> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=Details}" /> This will be out in a beta later today. Let me know if it's not working after the beta is out.
  4. Thanks, Clive. We are definitely predisposed to judgement, but I choose to take an approach that disagrees heavily with the majority of the world on this matter. If I were to be truly judged for my past, I would not survive; I've made mistakes that would condemn me to prison or worse. I choose to do my absolute best to replace all judgement in my life with love, rather than to play a hypocrite and judge people for things when I've probably done worse. I appreciate the discussion, though. We are likely to have some very different viewpoints because I base my ideologies on the teachings of Christ rather than the teachings of the world.
  5. “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye. Matthew 7: 1-5 (NLT) Today I'm reminded that judgement sucks. I hate being judged and usually do a good job not judging others, but not always. I pray that I can be humble and refrain from judging anyone for their life situation, their actions, or their words.
  6. Honestly I haven't tried the entire process, but under the Activity tab in the menu at the top there's "My Activity Streams" and you can supposedly create a new one to follow a thread.
  7. There should be a little menu popup that comes up when you click the orange icon. Is that not happening for you?

Looks awesome @andyco47! Glad it's working well for you. Let's see another screenshot with Big Box once you're all up and running.
  9. Hi @Soundtrackgeek, each forum does have an RSS feed but sadly I'm not seeing the option available for each topic. There should be a way to create an "Activity Stream" and then RSS off of that, but that might be a bit more work. The RSS link is available in the bottom right on the forums themselves, at least.
  10. Thanks, Cid. I'll have to see if I can do something about the Moderator colors later. I can't seem to find any settings for it yet.
  11. Great to hear; thank you @kmoney2315.
  12. Lol, I blame these new forums, actually. Yeah, apparently the fix for the CoverFlow views somehow got messed up again. I think it's only happening on the CoverFlow views, but this is on my shortlist (again).
  13. Sorry for the trouble here, guys. I will be getting back to the games database early next week and we can combine platforms, add alternate names, etc.
  14. No worries, glad it's working at least.
  15. Hmm, maybe it's not properly accepting YouTube shortlinks. It should automatically put the video in there if you just put in the full YouTube URL directly in the text (no tags or anything).
  16. Yeah, it's stuck there though for the time being because I'd have to reinvent the wheel to move it (figures).
  17. For new posts, that should work correctly. Unfortunately the old posts that were transferred over didn't automatically show up that way though. I have that on my plate. I assume that's what you mean @niglurion? By the way, I just added a dark theme that I'm really liking. You should be able to switch the theme in the footer now.
  18. Just added a great new Dark theme guys. There should be an option to change the theme in the footer. You might find a minor issue or two, just let me know if you do. I'm liking it though so I think I'll probably stick with it myself. It's certainly easier on the eyes.
  19. Great to hear. Sorry if it just hitched a bit, I just did a big update.
  20. Killer! Thanks @niglurion! Great to see the multi-download stuff in use too.
  21. Hi Cid, I'll be doing a tutorial on data bindings soon. Unfortunately it's not as easy just replacing the name of the binding, as there has to be a property in the model (the code) that matches up to the binding. It sounds like we may need some new properties in the code itself in order to get you what you need (until we add proper plugin support, at least). I think all you'll really need though is a property for the Notes as well as the Details, which is really easy to add. I've put that on my short list. I also need to figure out how you'd be able to call your own .xaml files, as I don't think the binding method will work. That's gonna take some further research I think.
  22. Thanks @Zeromod. Yeah, we switched pretty much everything out.
  23. Hi @lordmonkus, my apologies but I think there's still some confusion. Up at the top of the site in the blue menu there a link for Videos. That's what I meant for the new Videos section; can you post the video there? A forum topic is automatically created when videos are posted in the new Videos section.
  24. It would be happening whenever you press whatever button is mapped to "Page Down" in the Big Box options, not the physical Page Down button on your keyboard. Unfortunately we do not provide phone support, but I will look to get this issue fixed ASAP. Hopefully tomorrow for the next beta. The DirectX install is something that happens pretty much any time you install any modern games on your computer, so it certainly seems like it'd be safe enough. Still, sorry to hear about all the trouble.
