Hehehe, thanks @Mute64. The forums were all about just finding the right forum package to use. Thank goodness we finally did. I did do web development in my consulting days (amongst many other things), but I never did build a forums package. I was going to build it all myself until I found IPS (the forums that we're using). @kmoney, I wanted people to know when topics they had previously commented on had an update. But yes, it's easy to turn off email notifications.

Hi Legolas, when using the built-in EmuMovies search in LaunchBox, the file names do not have to match anything, as the game titles are used (in addition to the file names if the title is not found).

Very sorry for my delayed response on this, @toostrong4u. "Root element is missing" is an XML error and means that most likely your LaunchBox.xml file somehow got corrupted. You should be able to restore a backup from the Backups folder inside of your LaunchBox folder.

Welcome nosh, great to have you! Yes, the font sizes are overridden in order to basically auto-size them depending on the resolution of the user's monitor. So basically the font sizes are automatically calculated depending on how big the resolution of the monitor is. That said, you should be able to override this functionality by changing the name property of the TextBlock element in the FilterDetailsView. The new theme looks great so far!

Hi myazmj, unfortunately not currently but we will be adding more customization options for CoverFlow at some point here.

Yes, the file names should be the same, but there may be some new ROMs in the latest MAME release. You should be able to just re-import them all though and it will skip the existing games. However, we haven't updated the MAME metadata that comes with LaunchBox, so the very newest added ROMs might not be picked up.

Not sure why you'd be seeing performance issues downloading from the LaunchBox Games Database, as it seems to be downloading quickly for me. Maybe @circo can chime in as to those EmuMovies errors.

Hi locvez, those are EmuMovies errors. It's possible that EmuMovies is down but I wasn't aware of it. Are you able to download images from the LaunchBox Games Database?

Yeah, this is a known issue with the beta for the moment. Not exactly sure how we're gonna solve it.

Yeah, I take an active stance to do my best not to judge anyone else in this community (or any other products or platforms or communities). The legalities of everything are obviously an absolute mess. That said, my focus is on only using other people's work the way they intended and want it to be used. I very much recognize the irony of people having credit for artwork that was obviously taken from a game to begin with, but I also recognize the amount of effort that goes into compiling the media, and that deserves credit.

Check what the Manual path is set to for that platform under Tools > Manage Platforms. All those paths are customizable, so that's step one.

You might have a bug there, war, not sure. If the game has a manual assigned to it it definitely shouldn't be grayed out in the right-click menu.

It's basically an easy way to use various forums on your phone. I don't really plan on using it, honestly, but a lot of people do because it makes it very convenient on mobile. But considering I rarely leave the house or even my chair...
