  1. Of course you can. Create a Wii Ware Platform, then scrape it as Wii.
  2. I agree. I think it was a left over from GamesDB.
  3. The Nintendo WiiWare platform only has 1 game in it, and it has no images. That might be why.
  4. Because currently that is the only version available. There hasn't been a 7.0 beta released quite yet. Jason has stated that later this week there might be a beta out for everyone. So when there is one, just restart LaunchBox and it will pick up on the new release.
  5. Try moving RA to a different folder and try again. I wonder if it has to do with permissions.
  6. It should default to your RetroArch/system folder, that's where it expects BIOS to go. To save a config though, you make your changes, then go to the first tab within RetroArch and click "Save current config."
  7. I can see them trying to do good and follow the law, but I can guarantee it's more of that they're a giant business that spends probably too much time and money on each decision, they probably make less than 1% gross from that country (or any other) compared to their total yearly gross and just don't want to deal with it right now, or it's on the back burner. It's probably all related to cost effectiveness bullshit.
  8. There should be folders with chd's inside of them that match the rom files names, and the rom zip's should never be unzipped. Essentially, take a MAME .179 Rom Pack and a MAME .179 CHD pack, put the contents of each in to the roms folder and you're good to go; run the importer.
  9. Then find the corresponding CHD Pack (it will be a lot bigger) and put that in the roms folder as well. You'll want to put all of the individual folders in the roms path, not the chd files them selves. So ../MAME/roms/<game name>/__.chd. So the folders will be next to the rar files.
  10. Which one? The -L command is for RetroArch only, and the -skip_gameinfo -nowindow commands aren't necessary to making sure it runs, they just make the experience better. You put MAME in LaunchBox, make sure that the "Extract Rom Archives before running" is un-checked, put your rom files in the roms folder, the chd folders in the same roms folder. You run the importer and call your platform what ever you want (the default Arcade platform preferred) and make sure that it is Scraped As Arcade no matter what (if you use a non-default platform name). Going through the importer, you should come across a special screen for the MAME / Arcade importing, if not, press the back button on the wizard in the top right, on this page check the box to force using the MAME Importer (should be the last box, and it will only pop up if LaunchBox doesn't automatically do it for you, which it does automatically based on the platform name). On the MAME import screen check or uncheck the boxes and settings you want, and you should be good to go.
  11. Use the MAME tutorial that we have. It's a bit older, so replace the version numbers with the current version numbers and there ya go. The Lightspeed stuff might also be outdated currently, but the rest should be good to go. All you need is MAME and the proper corresponding MAME Rom and CHD Pack, through LaunchBox with the MAME Importer.
  12. Try the latest nightly as well, just out of curiosity.
  13. Yes it does, for controllers. It's called Controller Automation (Or just Automation). It's in the LaunchBox and Big Box settings, you set the keys up on your controller and you are good to go. I know Jason wants to eventually expand the amount of functions and open it up to be able to use keyboard buttons as well, but right now it's controller only.
  14. Yea, just now seeing the screen shot, that will do it. It's also worth noting, just in case, that Pokemon Green on Game Boy is only Pocket Monsters: Green too. It was only ever released in Japan, so I've also requested that to be changed as well, so if you see "Pokemon Green" show up at all, you know why.
  15. I requested some deletions as well, some Pokemon duplicates and rom hacks, so we'll see what happens.
  16. If stuff was properly approved for deletion, and it wasn't, then I would like a list please so that I can send it to Jason and we can try and figure it out. As much info as you could give me too, if you remember at all if anything was different, or if it went like a normal moderation. This could mean there is a deletion bug, but that's only if the game was approved for deletion and it never went anywhere.
  17. Open your LaunchBox or Big Box options menu, go to Automation (or Controller Automation), and set up your buttons. Set your hold button to something you want, then the other functions to different keys. You then press the hold button, then the exit key you've set. If an emulator gives you a dialogue asking if you really want to close this program, check the settings to see if you can disable that, or press the button combination again and it should close that window, then the emulator.
  18. I can, yes. I would head on over to their forums search around, or ask your question.
  19. What I did was call them "Pok", manually search and selected the game from the drop down. I went through, I believe, every system with a Pokemon game and edited their e out for a regular one. Even removed a few duplicates and a lot of rom hacks, but it will take a while for it to take effect. It requires 3 moderators approval, then about 24-48 hours from that point to be available for download within LaunchBox, after you run the update process for the Database file in LaunchBox, which happens automatically when there is an update available and you try scanning the database
  20. So demul is generally the suggested emulator for Dreamcast, but obviously RA has it's benefits. I don't know what runtime they use, but their site should say. Otherwise, you can't really downgrade cores, nor should you ever really need to, I meant more that it could be corrupted so just try re-downloading it in the Online Updater. The same corruption can happen to RetroArch it's self, or it was accidentally compiled wrong, or had glitches during compile. Try updating to the latest RA version, or a version or two back if you are on the latest. After that, cause I do think of those as the easiest steps, the next step is to find a different rip of your game. It could simply be a bad rip.
  21. They're there, but it's usually that e that throws them off. Some of them use a regular e, some use é. I should probably get their names changed on the database, as they do currently break one of the top rules: don't break scrapeability.
  22. This is a RetroArch issue, and it's hard to pin down. I've seen some reports of users saying that their game rips were causing it and after they changed them out it went away, I've personally avoided that by updating my version of RetroArch, some say redownloading the core, re-installing the Microsoft Visual++ Runtimes from the Microsoft site, so I guess take your pick in where you want to start.
  23. That's because it doesn't exist anymore, and that app hasn't been updated by the original developer. The XML's have been split in to the Data folder as of a version or two ago. What are you trying to accomplish?
