  1. When launching from Kodi I am unsure if there is anything we can do, however I am glad you found out the reason why. I will forward this to Jason to see if he knows why this could happen or if he can put in checks to maybe make sure this doesn't happen again?
  2. No, that is how we handle images. 1, 2 and 3 are put there for a reason. If there are images in there from before, make sure it is a folder with nothing existing previously and only 1 image to choose from. That said, the Tiered image system is going to fix this issue you are having. There isn't really an ETA on it. https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/719/tiered-images-to-help-fill-in-gaps-more
  3. They're there, I teach them in my Tutorial series on YouTube. When you edit a game: https://i.imgur.com/g9dk1Gh.png When you edit an Emulator: https://i.imgur.com/L9AiUdy.png https://i.imgur.com/HeV98eG.png They are there.
  4. So there is a command line to change this option? If so put the Software Rendering command line in the default command line parameter for just the game, not the system. Edit a game and go to the Emulation tab. If this sets the entire emulator to software mode for the rest of the games, set the default command line parameter to Hardware Rendering for PCSX2 under the Associated Platforms page or the main page when you edit the emulator.
  5. Thanks @AutumnSounds I didn't realize that existed. That Text Adventure compilation has me curious. :P
  6. SqHd said First, I would like to say thanks for the great videos! I really found the tutorial for setting up MAME via Retroarch very useful. Since MAME now supports all MESS systems; would it be possible to do a part 2 tutorial on running these via Retroarch and Launchbox (ex. Apple II, Intellivision, TI-99, etc.)? I've done a bunch of online research to no avail. I haven't figured out the correct folder structure for bios and roms. Thanks again for the great tutorials and amazing frontend! Honestly, probably not. I don't like MESS and I think it to be a disaster. That said, there are a few systems that can only be emulated via MESS and I may tackle them in the future, but for the most part a Part 2 about MESS won't happen. I might cover the 2 or 3 specific systems through MESS but that is about it. I have no clue when that would happen if it even does. Otherwise I appreciate the kind words and appreciate the viewership.
  7. What exactly do you mean? Do you want LaunchBox to be able change this option for you are do you want PCSX2 to change this for you? There aren't many games that are better in Software Compatibility, but the best way would be to find if you can toggle Software Rendering via the command line and edit a games default command line parameter to do just that. I don't if that exists though.
  8. Long and short, neither crash. I also tried with video playing in WMP or VLC and still no crash. I'll ask Jason to take a look, maybe there's something he can ask that might clue us in a bit.
  9. Drybonz said I'm getting a crash when I grab and drag the scrollbar to scroll in the game details sidebar. It does not crash if I mouse wheel scroll through it... only using the scrollbar. Error message is just the generic "has stopped working". Were you looking at a long Game Details bar, or any game details bar? I'll see if I can replicate.
  10. Zork has also been re-made at least a dozen times too, you can probably find a web based version.
  11. Between the Database and Tiered image system we're trying to make it so no gaps exist.
  12. On PS4 there's an option for just 16 bit I thought.
  13. Grab the PS4 or PC versions to get all of the graphics and audio options. Plus Trophies and Achievements. :P That is a fun game I really really need to go back to. I would suggest buying that from their site or one of those services though, it is a modern developed game with full support still so it should still be purchase I think.
  14. Try moving Cemu up a few folders.
  15. Yea it's just simply not designed that way. Try using an XML backup until it works.
  16. Well yes and no, it is really all up to what it allows.
  17. We don't really control that, that would be all the forum provider.
  18. Make sure you games are named the same in LaunchBox and Associated Platforms. It sounds like an RA core is off, settings or the BIOS. Double check and make sure you have the core names correctly and you're not using the -c command to load a custom config afterwards.
  19. This is planned but the best place for feature requests are the respective BitBuckets. The Database BitBucket is here: https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/issues/new
  20. I want all of that... now. And see Zelda for us is skewed, clearly. But the sad truth is it's not a system seller. The attach rate and numbers for Wii U games is astounding considering (like the Vita) but it's dead... I do hope the NX does it, the changes they are making to Zelda sound exciting.
  21. If Zelda is supposed to be a system seller then you look at all of them, not just the first 3. Twilight Princess is the best comparison to now because the new Zelda is multi-console as well, NX and Wii U. So it's actually the only analog. Also @weltall There are only 2 distinct versions of the 3DS and I've got both of them. The regular 3DS and the New 3DS. There is the 3DS XL but it is just a bigger 3DS. I have the 3DS XL and the New 3DS XL, the new one has a better everything. It operates so much better and it was only like $20 more expensive? It was a worthwhile upgrade. The speed alone is fantastic.
  22. Zelda historically doesn't sell great actually, it doesn't move the needle in that way. Zelda sold great on Wii (Twilight Princess), but on Gamecube it was low. Granted 1m isn't low, but for a series like this where everyone assumes it sells consoles... that's low. 2014 was the year of kick ass games on the Wii U, Smash always being called a System seller, and none of those games helped sell more Wii U's sadly. I love my Wii U, the games on it are great, but it was a shit storm coming from the Blue Ocean strategy that killed the Wii U, and the fact that it was outdated a year later. Nintendo's unwillingness to go towards Internet based stuff also has not helped. Wii U eShop sales of games only accounts for 8% of their sales, and it's not because people don't want to, it's because it sucks. I have an external drive plugged in to my 32GB Wii U because 32GB is a joke. Xenoblade Chronicles X, assuming the Wii U had nothing else on it, would fill the entire system. Nintendo lost 3rd party at Gamecube, only had some 3rd party support in Wii because of the gigantic install base but NO ONE talks about the Wii ports of anything and we obviously ignore all the shovel ware, so they didn't retain them for the Wii U.
  23. It's already been half confirmed they went with AMD again, I think it's a giant mistake, but they went with AMD again.
