  1. If their API allows for it then sure. At the top click Send Feedback and create this as a ticket for you and others to vote on it. That is the best way for features to get implemented. Normally search first and vote on an existing ticket but I am fairly sure this one doesn't exist.
  2. I also greatly apologize, it is ridiculous. The sad part is, unless we create the shop on our own and pre-purchase the shirts from a business that does this sort of thing it would just take a lot more time and space. Spreadshirt was supposed to be easy due to the fact that we don't need to pre-purchase and we don't need to manage it. There aren't any easy solutions. xD
  3. jallen99 said Awesome! Thanks for the answers and then some! I definitely want the BigBox experience since my setup is exactly what you're describing. I also like that you take feature requests. Once I dig further down into the program, I'll be sure to send feedback if there's anything specific I'm looking for. Thanks again for your help! No problem, enjoy!
  4. Actually, no need. Update LaunchBox to the latest Beta in the options. Jason just implemented this feature under the Beta.
  5. Yes we want to do it but no it isn't a priority. This has also been talked about a lot on the forums and has a BitBucket ticket. You can search and vote on them by clicking Send Feedback at the top.
  6. CD and Saturn I would be comfortable compressing, but I would feel like i need to test each one to make sure they launch. PS1 is where I am drawing the line going forward for compression unless someone creates a specifically designed system for compression. I am using WBFS on an external for my real Wii too, and with the exception of a few games all of their junk data has been taken out. A few games require this data, so they're only in the WBFS file container. Same deal with CSO's, a few PSP games aren't compressed in a CSO because they don't function correctly and on my real PSP most CSO games take longer to load. I am dabbling with the CSO utility for PS2 games. It's specially designed for it but I am still skeptical. Compression has it's uses, but it is not good to constantly use. For example, compressing, uncompromising, re-compressing over and over will eventually destroy the data. So data can be damaged during compression or uncompression, even if it happens once.
  7. For systems in RA that require BIOS, which this does, they need to go in to your System folder. You may also need to change your path settings in RA for the System folder.
  8. Ah, that explains a lot then. Well thank you very much for sharing this with us. Yet another thing we get to add to the ever growing list of troubleshooting. :P At least this is one where we have a definitive answer. Edit: Of course after re-reading the error "Class not registered" should have been a huge flag to not give you the K-Lite solution, but at least now you're also completely updated with codecs.
  9. http://codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_standard.htm Download K-Lite and if it says it found any errors tell it Yes to fix them.
  10. My Wii is using wbfs compressed games personally, im not going to double compress them. I'm not a giant fan of compressing the data unless it is a CSO or a special made container like WBFS. I can't imagine that anything else is optimized to stream the data from the rom to the emulator. Small and easy systems are honestly probably no problem, but the space saved is going to be super minimal. Anything of note where size can be saved, if any, is going to potentially have problems playing. I know, for example, that there is a handful of games that can't be put in to a CSO for this exact reason. Though if it is working im glad. Just know that you might run in to some issues with games, and if you do remember that you compressed it and that this could be causing the issues. Uncompressing it may not fix it either.
  11. The video should be below that text, above the images. Go to Tools -> Options then Game Details on the left. There is a big area that says "Show". The first box is Video, is this checked? If not, check it and restart LB again.
  12. Sweet, controllers are working again. Thank you for letting us know.
  13. As of right now nothing has been implemented to combat this. It is still in the works and will be available ASAP.
  14. sadesh said it sounds awesome and I was impressed. Thank you very much! I haven't worked on the game in a while unfortunately, been working hard for Jason and haven't even thought about my game. I still have the passion for it, but I'm not being paid for it, so...
  15. grus2002 said Okay, thanks, some things to consider. When importing game metadata, DFR has a function where it lists titles found that are close to yours--in case there isn't an exact match. I sometimes rename some of my roms and there can be trouble finding them. Is there a way to do that in launchbox? Not in the way you expect from D-Fend. Just right click a game and edit it. You can do everything from in here 1 by 1 like you would have in D-Fend if you need to do this. Also, right now our Database was based on The Games DB and we haven't made too many upgrades to it. They had it to where DOS games were called PC games... which is totally stupid. We will get this resolved in the very near future but still, for now, DOS games may try and get re-labeled as PC if you edit their metadata 1 by 1. You can also re-run the import process by clicking a game, Ctrl + A to highlight them all, then at the top Tools -> Download Metadata and Images. Make sure to select "Only for metadata that is missing" so you don't have to re-download all of the data again. This is good in several cases. If you need some more help, we have some YouTube tutorials that you can find if you follow the link in my signature.
  16. I am still inclined to say that there may be some weird quirks with this method until further testing reports.
  17. Either AutoPlay or potentially something is wrong with the Codecs and if the auto play didn't fix it a download of K-Lite Codec Pack Standard will work. Let K-Lite fix any issues it may see.
  18. So the license allows you to put LaunchBox on your machines if you would like to. The $20 option covers you for a year from your purchase date, and you will have premium for up the that year and as long as you stay on that last version you'll have Premium. You can opt for the Lifetime License if you'd rather instead of having to continually pay per year or pay then upgrade. The huge difference right now is BigBox. It is designed as a couch styled front end that is controlled more elegantly with a controller. Otherwise there is a lot of tweaks you can make to the UI and some metadata downloading is behind premium for EmuMovies. Specifically Video, and you need an EmuMovies premium account for their video. We are always adding features to Premium as well. Take a look at the Patch Notes in LaunchBox under the About menu. The size depends on your library. I have about 14k games and my Images folder is over 15GB. That's just raw images. We download the best quality offered to us by our scrapers, and our own scraper (The LaunchBox Games DB) has artwork that was from TheGamesDB, which was also high quality 95% of the time. We will be allowing users in the future to also upload their own metadata and images to our Database as well. As far as Emulators go, there is nothing special you really need to do when it comes to save states. You don't even need to move your games or emulators at all. So if you already have... say, PPSSPP already set up, then just point LaunchBox to that emulator, import all your games and you're good to go. If there were saves already set up then just load the game and your save state like usual. Some emulators need specific command line parameters to work, but if you need more help our YouTube channel as tutorials created by me. You can get there by going to the link in my signature. If you have any bugs or any feature requests, click "Send Feedback" at the top of any LaunchBox page. Search to see that the bug or feature you have is already submitted. If it is an it is open you are more then welcome to vote on it. If it doesn't exist, you are also more then welcome to create a ticket. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
  19. Ok that problem I may have. I was recording Fallout 4 and my screen blacked out. My PC didn't turn off, but my main screen did. GTX 970 4GB. Yea... ok now im mad.
  20. I have several odd USB devices as well and I can tell you from my expierence I've had 0 issues with Windows 10 updates, either related to LaunchBox or otherwise.
  21. Scirocco-MRK1 said Could I possibly get a copy of 4.4 as well? I purchased the lifetime upgrade and find myself needing the older version. Go figure... :) Unfortunately due to the change with the Metadata scraper, any version of LB before 5.8 we can not guarantee will work.
  22. A DFend Importer hasn't been in LaunchBox for over a year. It was taken out and replaced with more competent DOS importing a long time ago now. It was extremely buggy. Honestly, it is not even needed anymore. You found the right location for PDF's, but really only one can be used right now from that folder. You can set them up with the Additional Apps feature, but you have to do that manually. If you want to suggest features like this (even though I believe this one has been suggested before), click send feed back at the top of the page. That takes you to our BitBucket. You can submit bugs or feature requests. You can also search tickets to make sure that what you want hasn't already been requested. If it has, you can vote on it.
  23. The video gets played in the Game Details side bar in LaunchBox if you have a video for that game, no where else.
