  1. Demul emulates Cave, Gaelco, Sega Hikaru, Naomi, Naomi GD, Naomi 2, Naomi 2 GD and Sammy Atomiswave Sega Model 2 emulates Sega Model 2 Supermodel emulates Sega Model 3 Off of the top of my head these are three main emulators for arcade boards that aren't covered yet by MAME (There is the newer Arcade PC stuff too Like Taito Type X and Nesica but I don't know how I would categorize that yet)
  2. Yes
  3. Well I don't want to say its impossible because you aren't talking about using themes for different platforms your talking about taking the gameview.xaml from Critical Zone and adding it to BigCouch I'm not sure if you could just paste it and it would work but there may be small code changes that could make this possible you would need one of the theme makers possible @CriticalCid@Grila@eatkinola or @Maddoc1007 could answer this question for you.
  4. Well actually its just over 60 games in the Naomi GD and GD2 libraries so its a little bit of work may be better to get the chd set extract what you need and then jettison the full pack if you don't want it or research the working games and jettison the non working if that suites you better
  5. Well many of Naomi game don't need the chd packs and honestly if you don't need them for MAME its probably easier to hunt them down individually as it isn't that many games Brads file separates them too I believe so the one with GD at the end will be the one that needs the CHD files.
  6. Well Naomi doesn't work in MAME anyway you need Demul if you want to set it up I suggest using the .bat file in the link to extract the games from your MAME set and import them as a platform with Demul as the emulator.
  7. http://docs.mamedev.org/commandline/commandline-all.html This is where I got the info I pasted. So you are saying setting it to rawinput it does work?
  8. Yeah I didn't notice there wasn't a raw input option for Joystickprovider so I don't know that the documentation is from 0.174 so it may be an option unless it was added since then
  9. These are where you would change the input I believe but don't have any experience in doing so. -keyboardprovider Chooses how MAME will get keyboard input. On Windows, you can choose from: auto, rawinput, dinput, win32, or none On SDL, you can choose from: auto, sdl, none The default is auto. On Windows, auto will try rawinput with fallback to dinput. On SDL, auto will default to sdl. -mouseprovider Chooses how MAME will get mouse input. On Windows, you can choose from: auto, rawinput, dinput, win32, or none On SDL, you can choose from: auto, sdl, none The default is auto. On Windows, auto will try rawinput with fallback to dinput. On SDL, auto will default to sdl. -lightgunprovider Chooses how MAME will get light gun input. On Windows, you can choose from: auto, rawinput, win32, or none On SDL, you can choose from: auto, x11 or none The default is auto. On Windows, auto will try rawinput with fallback to win32, or none if it doesn’t find any. On SDL/Linux, auto will default to x11, or none if it doesn’t find any. On other SDL, auto will default to none. -joystickprovider Chooses how MAME will get joystick input. On Windows, you can choose from: auto, winhybrid, dinput, xinput, or none On SDL, you can choose from: auto, sdl, none

    HBMAME

I don't even play close to all the stuff in regular MAME so I personally don't bother
  11. so you would probably edit the game in LB and link it to the .cmd file and not the rom itself assuming RA launches the cmd files
  12. LB has issues running from the programs files folder if I remember correctly.
  13. It depends what do you have to pass along now in RA
  14. Sammy Atomiswave is one of the arcade boards that is supported in Demul and it probably isn't part of the Naomi set your best bet to get these would be a full set of non-merged or split MAME ROMs to make this easier @SentaiBradhas created a .bat file to copy the roms needed for many of the supported boards you can find the bat here. 2 Atomiswave does not have a core in RA and Demul is the only way I know to emulate it. No Because the emulator emulates Saturn and Atomiswave that doesn't correlate into Atomiswave games being Dreancast games. 3 There is a No filler .bat file like the one linked above that is considered to be a very good list of games which is also available in the forums download section. You still need the full rom set to extract the games from though
  15. Yeah I could have sworn I have done this before but can't for the life of me figure out what to do if you have a mame.ini file in your RA\Systems\MAME folder you can add paths in there the same you would with stand alone MAME
  16. If your card supports it try the DX12 or Vulkan graphics api
  17. haven't seen it yet but like the name
  18. My bad load it with no game
  19. https://www.libretro.com/index.php/mamemessume-cores/ This is kind of older but it might tell you something. From how I understood it it seems to say you need to use the software list games which is what I was trying to figure out a way around now the link is from 2015 and may not be relevant anymore.
  20. no I mean when you launch a game in RA MAME if you hit tab the MAME menu should appear like it would in the standalone version and then from there you can go to the config option and set directories
  21. Yeah this feature is sorely missing.
  22. Bitbucket is what is used to make official requests that can be tracked by the dev and voted on by other users. Requests made here are harder for the dev to keep track of that is why its suggested to use BitBucket.
  23. 6 You can use multiple drives and even network drives to store roms in LB (we are going to drop the P because its the same regardless if you have premium or not) 5 Non-merged or Split (I personally don't understand the emphasis given to the non-merged as the split has always worked fine for me and is half the disc size) For things like Sega Genesis/Megadrive and NES you can use the software list roms in MAME but to use them in LB is a pain due to the naming that MAME uses for them not being supported in LB scraping. Most users just get regular roms and not many bother to emulate console systems through MAME unless it is the only viable option. 4 RA is a great program which offers more than just controller features and shaders it also emulates a few quite a few consoles that aren't supported in MAME yet. 3 By parent MAME I'm going to assume you mean the stand alone version I'm kind of unclear on what you are trying to ask here 2 I don't use bezels so I'm not your guy for this one. 1 I've always just turned the pass to 0 and it worked don't know what would cause it to keep running it at 0
  24. I solved the mystery your secretly the Chinese spammer!
