  1. No I really mean 0.186 don't know how I f'ed that up so bad can I edit the title
  2. Yeah the discount only applies to premium LB members as far as I know.
  3. Just go the latest version and its weird that when I add it to LB it works to launch the games without any issues but if I try to open it without a game (from both the right click context list in LB and straight up in File Explorer) it just flashes on screen and then disappears. Anyone else seeing this issue?
  4. I don't know what else I can tell you boss I'm out of ideas and I don't have the hardware to play with and figure it out.
  5. The FMV like all FMV looks spectacular.
  6. You need Daemon tools or some equivalent to use SSF.
  7. zipped 8 and 16 bit games aren't really an issue and they work quite well as long as the archive only contains one ROM which can be an issue with some.
  8. I believe there is a NeoGeo bat floating around somewhere on the internet that copies the files out of MAME
  9. Yeah this hobby does take time to get it set up right you have to decide if you want to invest the time or not.
  10. I'd buy one 8GB stick just in case I wanted to upgrade then I would only need one new DIMM stick and not 2
  11. 8 would probably suffice.
  12. My software list rom set is a little older actually but I doubt many things change about the game carts in MAME
  13. Yeah I've never tried it before and I don't have it in LB or anything but I do have the software list rom set so I can test things from the UI fairly quickly
  14. Most emulators don't take advantage of core threading from what I've read.
  15. No I'm not saying that at all I'm saying it just has that weird screen that is all I got but I didn't try waiting.
  16. Yeah If you aren't doing any video editing or professional work I would suggest only the 16GB
  17. http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-3570-vs-Intel-Core-i3-6100 I ran this with the 6100 as the 7100 is so new its not even on the site to compare but you can see in benchmark test that new i3 scores better so I would think the 7100 would just continue that trend.
  18. I get the same results when launching from the UI just that weird screen for all games
  19. you can always add a path to the ini file or from the built in UI
  20. by default I think that the software list games should be in folders named after what ever the command line uses inside of the default ROMs folder.
  21. did your command lines change under Manage Emulators or did you change any of the checkboxes that were checked.
  22. Under Manage Emulator do you have Don't use quotes and use file names only checked MESS doesn't work if they are checked.
  23. Can you open them directly from inside of MAME's built in UI
  24. If you get the sets from The Most Pleasurable of Domes you can get them in 3 flavors Merged, Split and Non-Merged so no CLRMAMEPro necessary. If you get the non-merged set which would be the largest all the games contain every file that the game needs to run this is the best set to have if you want to delete stuff from the set because no games are dependent on any other files everything should be self contained (Not sure if the BIOS is included in the game archive or not as I don't have a non-merged set) The issue with the merged set is it only the parent rom has a archive and the pieces of the clones are inside that archive so for instance Pac-Man is one of the games on your list only Puck Man rom will have a file in the merged set and after import you would have to change the puckman rom name to the pacman rom name in order to play Pac-Man with the Non-Merged you can throw away the puckman rom because the pacman rom contains the puckman rom already. http://docs.mamedev.org/usingmame/aboutromsets.html This here explains it much better than I can.
