  1. to use different cores with RA for the same platform you need to make a 2nd instance of the emulator in LB you don't need to have 2 copies of the emulator just have 2 instances setup in LB using different settings and point the games that you want to use the 2nd core to the new emulator.
  2. Since LB doesn't officially support any other media types add roms is the way to go.
  3. Brad how many times do I have to tell you the Model 3 games that work with Supermodel are in the MAME set. I keep posting it but you keep telling everyone it isn't.
  4. I don't know if the GPG core is 100%. I've seen Blastem on EmuCR but haven't messed with it due to the fact I'm pretty satisfied with RA.
  5. Yet Another Broken Ass Unusable Saturn Emulator
  6. send an email to support@unbrokensoftware.com and someone should be able to straighten you out
  7. Yeah I've done all that it just doesn't control it in any accurate kind of way.
  8. I have a Logitech G27 that I could never figure out how to get to work reliably with either emulator.
  9. I don't do that but out of laziness but yeah it is basically good practice to backup all your programs when updating so if your worried that is very sound advice.
  10. It won't mess anything up and if you do run into any issues you can go into the updates folder in LB and just install the update for your last working version right over the new version. The updates won't mess with any of your settings, media folders or your data sets in the xml files. The program is updated quite frequently so you shouldn't fear the updates.
  11. you can throw a Steamlink in your arcade machine and use Steam Big Picture to Steam LB/BB to the Arcade machine from your PC for cheaper than a pi
  12. Okay it downloads the update in the background same as LB does and then prompts you to install it when it is done downloading
  13. It downloads the update with out asking in the background of LB/BB without notification or confirmation then it asks for a confirmation to install after the download has already happened. I'm not sure if it also applies to BB but I'm thinking it will. I have a PC I have to update so I'll test real quick.
  14. I asked for a right click context menu to launch games with alt emulators for some time and there wasn't much support for it. I may have even created a bitbucket ticket for it but can't really remember.
  15. Okay then 800 gets the atariosa file then I guess. The ataribas goes in the basic slot and atarixl goes in the xl slot.
  16. you can on BitBucket just go to issues request in the sites header. If you know the proper rom name you can go to the edit Window and modify the rom path to point at the correct game for quick fix.
  17. Okay you did it right then must just be an error like I said I've had issue where it doesn't find the right rom either and you end up with Hispanic Street Fighter when there is a perfectly good US version which I should have gotten.
  18. If you name the platform arcade and use MAME as the emulator it should have extra forms to the import wizard that have MAME specific options. If you didn't see them you may have not have imported correctly.
  19. In the platform you have open hit ctrl+a this should highlight all the games then go to tools and choose download metadata and media run the wizard if you already have some images imported use the 2nd option not to replace any existing media and finish the wizard.
  20. yeah if you prioritize say North American roms if the parent is world you should in theory still get the NA version instead. So basically LB thinks that version is the best version to match your criteria this isn't always 100% correct though as I've seen Hispanic versions of Street Fighter 2 get imported over the US one in the past.
  21. Atariosa atariosb atarixl ataribas I think I deleted my KAT install but you need a few bios files for it to run
  22. If you think of adding any more source the TVDB seems to be excellent that is what Plex uses.
  23. Yep use ctrl+a to select all the games use ctrl+e to edit this will open the bulk edit window from the dropdown select emulator and then in the 2nd drop down put in your new emulator finish the wizard and your good to go,
  24. 3 With merged when you import it you will only get the parent Roms imported so say there is a Japanese game that it the parent but there is a US clone with the filters LB would (hopefully since I've seen issues with some games) use the settings to import the US version instead of the Japanese version with the merged set it won't see the US version at all because there isn't an archive with the name for it so the merged limits what you can do with it now if you know the US rom name you could easily just change the rom name to be the clone name in your MAME ROMs and in the LB game edit window and it would launch the clone but this would be manual and tedious work to accomplish. 2 I think so but I'm unsure as I don't do the MAME media myself I just use LB's 1 That location is always set to the default location regardless of where your games are installed you can change it to the path you are actually using but the only feature I know of that it works with is scanning for newly added ROMs
  25. It should only send the command line that you enter under the associated platform
