  1. My I5 3330 handles some Gamecube games quiet well with the built in graphics but has issues with others it also plays PS2 games but I haven't done any extensive testing with it.
  2. It is possible but not easy if involves setting up shortcuts I launch my XBox One app from inside of LaunchBox I have a post on here somewhere that details how to go about doing it. I decided not be be lazy so here is the link . I couldn't find all of my apps in that location though so it may not be possible for the app you want to do it for.
  3. Any i3 I've ever tried GameCube/Wii games on have stuttered horrible but they were laptops and only using built in Intel graphics so maybe that was the difference.
  4. I would have a hard time trusting that all the parts were new or were exactly what they were supposed to be but that's because I have trust issues.
  5. what do they charge to actually build the PC not including the parts?
  6. Both of my 750 TI's can run PCSX2 and Dolphin without issue.
  7. I'm confused what is limiting you to only those cards and if you can install a 760 why wouldn't you be able to use other 700 series GPU's. I didn't know that this was an issue I thought that if your PC had 16x PCIe slot you could plug any GPU in as long as your PSU could handle the extra load.
  8. My Dell Inspiron 660S has a mSATA connected through PCIe adapter card they actually have new drives though that have PCIe connectors built right into them I was reading about them last night.
  9. Bedroom Asus M51CAC PNY GeForce GTX 970 Core i7 4770K 16GB RAM 50 inch Samsung HDTV Kitchen Dell Inspiron 660S Onboard Intel Graphics Core i5 3330 8GB RAM 32 inch Sony HDTV Living Room Asus (mobo) Z170I EVGA GeForce GTX 750 TI Core i5 6500 16GB RAM 50 inch Sony HDTV Basement Asus (mobo) Z170P-D3 EVGA GeForce GTX 750 TI Core i5 6500 16GB RAM 55 inch Samsung HDTV These are the systems I throw anything at the Dell struggles with some things PS2 and Dolphin but handles other things fine.
  10. I've only built with Asus boards and their documentation is good. Can't speak as to any other company's.
  11. No it really isn't that hard it can feel very overwhelming at first but you are basically just assembling it the documentation that comes with your board will tell you everything you need to know. I'm assuming this will be your first build just follow the directions especially the one about not popping of the cover that goes over the CPU slot I missed that one on my first build and then the board didn't work. I'm not sure if I did anything to it or if it was DOA but I haven't had any problems with boards other than the one that I made that mistake with.
  12. Yeah a few years ago they were prohibitively expensive but since then the prices have started to drop (I got 2 480GB ones over Christmas for $150 per). Now I'm waiting for the PCIe SSD's to come down in price as they are supposedly much faster than the SATA III versions.
  13. I love Mario Golf (not that anyone cares).
  14. SSD is a must have upgrade (In my opinion) for every computer. If you don't install a lot of programs you could probably get away with 120GB which would be even cheaper (not maybe cheap enough to justify the loss of space though).
  15. I have my PS2 games in a folder with 27 subfolders and while most of the games are ISO's there are a few that are in cue/bin format. I got curious and Googled to see if you could exclude file types from the a search in Explorer by using NOT *.cue (in my case) it ended up going over great and the unwanted files were no included in the search. I just wanted to share this in case it can make someone's day easier.
  16. Yeah I guess I never thought of it that way we are lucky so many games are in English to begin with I guess.
  17. Thanks! I started adding language patches to some of my NES games today so thanks again for that informative tutorial last week.
  18. Yeah I know they are designed for smaller screens but really I personally prefer to play in full screen I'm not really bothered with how they look stretched.
  19. No I can play them but some have a lot of text and if you can't read it it kind of ruins the experience at least for me.
  20. Can you stretch to full screen with the RA core or will there be black space
  21. Yeah I understand I just hate to see a platform go unemulated and the software be lost even if it is in another language. I can't really play any of my PC-Engine CD games either but some of them look like they are probably pretty cool. Its not that big a deal I'll have to try Mednefen again and try using pcfx.rom I don't think I ever changed the name last time I tried.
  22. I'm using SNES9x-sx2 and I've found that it fixes issues with the few games I had issues with in SNES9x. I don't really play SNES all that much anyway so its not the biggest deal I would have liked to use it because of the accuracy but I can't take looking at that blank black space on my TV screen.
  23. I have it full screen but it has vertical black space on each side I'm trying to eliminate that I have Aspect Correction turned off but it ins't changing anything in full screen. That is kind of a deal breaker for me.
  24. Can it stretch full screen
  25. That's a cool idea but since I have Windows Phone (or Windows Mobile or whatever they are calling this week) no one will develop an app for it. Its actually a solid platform but low market share means low priority for developers. As long as I can watch Plex, SlingBox read my comics, ebooks and listen to audio books then it does everything I need it to just sucks to be denied the bells and whistles some times. (Yeah MLB I'm talking about you)
