  1. Yeah I saw the same behavior last night didn't think it was worth mentioning but you aren't the only one to see that behavior. Updating to beta 2 it still used my new pinned icon so must have just been a one off from switching to .Net Core
  2. Majority of people should have x64 systems at this point and I would assume that would be the version they would try to install but I guess it can't hurt.
  3. Strange that part went over without a issue for me are you on Windows 10 and if so what build?
  4. Did you install .net Core3.1 ? Its not the same as .Net Framework. Yes other users have reported similar issues with plugins I'm sure that there will be another push fairly quickly to correct some of these issues.
  5. try unzipping them and then adding the .gdi as the file for LB also make sure all the files stay together
  6. that usually indicates there are issues with you disc images.
  7. LB is using your systems settings for reading PDFs to change it press the win+i keys to open settings go to apps then default apps from there click the text that says choose default apps by file type and set your PDF viewer there
  8. old builds of LaunchBox are not distributed so if you will have to look elsewhere to find one.
  9. Saw on BitBucket today a user asking for a feature to be added that would delete the updates in your updates folder in LaunchBox. So instead of Jason taking time out to have to add this to LB (if he would have bothered to I don't know). I did a quick search and found a nice easy tutorial on how to do so yourself using the built in task scheduler that Windows already comes with. Now while just navigating to the folder every so often and manually deleting these would probably truly be the easiest solution adding a little automation to your life to eliminate a mundane task isn't the worst thing. Basically just follow the instructions from the page on the link and you will be on your way to scheduling a monthly clean up of updates folder. https://pureinfotech.com/delete-files-older-than-days-windows-10/
  10. are you using any type of antivirus besides Windows Defender.
  11. try going into your updates folder and running the last installer again. make sure you install it right over top of your current install and not nested inside of your current folder.
  12. the thing with that is that is you can have a file that is named correctly but be the wrong check sum and RetroArch will says its detected so if it says its detected but you can't get it to work still you will have to run a check and make sure it matches up with that info also.
  13. To be fair though people should be able to jump to that conclusion.
  14. might have to do with the mode that you paired you ipega with.
  15. No if you delete the folder LB will just remake them every time you open the program.
  16. wasn't this a problem that was fixed in the 11.1 beta?
  17. Well I suggest that you tell the emulator developers this on their websites and see how fast they either ban you or laugh you off of their site.
  18. I don't use FBNeo but from last I had read the ROMs it uses are not the same as the ones that MAME uses as in the files inside of the archives are different. I don't know if that has changed at anytime but if not then it would not be possible to use them interchangeably for any games that consisted of differing files.
  19. I have crashes on my arcade machine too but it almost always takes 4 or 5 days to crash and then I just restart it at that point.
  20. DOS76

    MAME

if it has nothing in it you probably installed it nested in your Launchbox folder inside of another Launchbox folder.
  21. http://www.emucr.com/2020/06/desmume-git-20200619.html try this git version of the emulator from June 19th and see if you get different results.
  22. You haven't needed to rename them in quite some time and you can now have multiple startup video files that will play randomly.
