  1. You do know they are called carts short for cartridge not cards?
  2. Okay with a quick test I have found that if you type in a different core next to the one in the drop down that LB will launch the one typed in over the one in the drop down. So basically you can manually do what you want already in the program and type in the path to your cores folder no matter where it is located.
  3. . No LB allows RA to handle its directories the only path LB has stored is the path to your RA.exe then its set to automatically use the command line to call from the cores folder but that isn't stored anywhere it just assumes that you are using the default path in RA
  4. LB doesn't have the ability to change the path from the default cores folder in the drop down its not a bug at all its just a very niche use case and it wasn't coded to consider it. An easy solution to get around it would be to not name your RetroArch emulator RetroArch in LB then it won't auto fill and you would have to come in and manually type in all of your paths to your cores folder using the full path from the mechanical drive.
  5. If you were to type -L "DriveLetter\FullPathToCoresFolder\sameboy_libretro.dll" that might launch from where you had moved it to but I've never tested it so I'm not actually sure that if something typed in there would take precedence over the drop down or not but it may. While it isn't a bug if typing that in there doesn't supersede what is in the drop down then yes that may not be a scenario that LB is equipped to handle. I personally don't think I ever heard of anyone moving their cores folder so it is not something that probably would have been considered.
  6. Its the only option I know of currently
  7. also make sure you vote for your own topic!
  8. Also you should vote for your own issue.
  9. should have linked your BitBucket request
  10. If you have access to a previously undumped ROM then I would say the people at MAME are the ones to ask. https://forum.mamedev.org/
  11. I don't think all the stuff that works in Demul works in Flycast I've never seen it mentioned that it even does Hikaru emulation. @xevious1974 looking at that list some of those games marked as wanted are in Demul already so I'm going to assume it is outdated at this point.
  12. https://docs.mamedev.org/commandline/commandline-all.html Check that out go down to the Core Per-Window heading
  13. @Retro808 just a heads up I believe now days if your DC games are in CHD format you don't need to do that any longer.
  14. @demosthenes2010 my guess is due to the platform not using the MAME emulator and it not picking up the arcade short names but that is just a guess maybe @Jason Carr or @C-Beats could offer more info on the subject. On more thought that probably isn't it as you have already told the platform what to scrape as so disregard my 1st statement still maybe the devs might know more
  15. do your games work in MAME when you don't use LaunchBox? If they do the most likely thing is that MAME doesn't know where your ROMs are located. Are your ROMs in the MAME\ROMs folder? If they are not in the MAME\ROMs folder have you edited the MAME.ini file to set the path to the actual directory that you are storing your MAME ROMs in?
  16. right click the dll and go to properties there is a checkbox at the bottom for blocking unblocking it.
  17. Its the battle for Midway do yo?u have the wrong title so it isn't scraping?
  18. yeah my bad I always think in term of lifetime as its the best way to go in my opinion.
  19. never saw that try going to the online updater and updating your assets for the program maybe that will fix it.
  20. by unplugged I'm pretty sure he means from the internet not from the wall socket.
  21. based on the product being sold globally and $75 USD being a lot of money if you are from certain countries I don't think its fair to mock people for trying to use this awesome product even though they may not be able to afford to do so legally. At the same time I can't fault management for looking out for their financial well being and enforcing their licensing.
  22. during the import try checking the box to import duplicates and see what happens.
  23. I don't even know if you can download ComicRack any longer.
  24. yeah getcomics is not a threat and after Google SafeSearch whitelisted it again yesterday and it no longer shows as a threat.
