  1. https://m64p.github.io/ Give that one a try, it's really nice and easy to use out of the box.
  2. Well we do have a wiki but its not exactly updated, no one seems to be up to taking it on. We do however have this thread here specifically for AHK scripts.
  3. $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} } That'll work for blueMSX
  4. You can keep all your games and bios in a single folder, but if you prefer to have your bios files in a separate folder you can add that folder to the rompaths.
  5. If you have your bios roms separate folder from the rest of your roms you will need to add that folder to your mame.ini rompaths. Just out of curiosity, why do you have a Startup folder ?
  6. You will just have to find better websites with good disk images.
  7. If you have a Pleasure Dome account download the Mame torrent set and just pick out the specific files you may need.
  8. The Mame core that has no year in its name is the latest version.
  9. Most likely your disk images aren't correct and need to be fixed or replaced. Running the cue file is correct but there are a lot of bad Saturn disk images out there.
  10. Typically all you will need to map is the Player 1 and 2 joysticks and buttons 1-6. The P1 Left Stick and P1 Right Stick is for twin sticks shooters like Robotron and Smash TV, the way I set those is the left stick uses the d-pad like normal and the right stick I set to the 4 main face buttons, it works great.
  11. The version of Mame I use is specifically for the command line version and like I have in my guide you download the Mame installer from http://mamedev.org/release.html. That is the installer, when you run it it will ask you where you want to extract the files to, you can have them anywhere you like for your personal organization methods. In my guide I show my personal method that works for me. You do not have to have any roms in the \roms folder of your chosen Mame install folder but you will need to tell Mame where they are if you put them elsewhere, I explain that in my tutorial.
  12. Have you looked at my tutorial thread ?
  13. I'm sure you know this but I am posting this here for anyone reading it, sharing of the special chip roms is not allowed here on the forums, they fall under the same rules as regular roms and bios files. All the special chip files you need are included in the No-Intro SNES set, you will just need to do like you said you did in your post, copy and rename files. https://docs.libretro.com/library/bsnes_accuracy/
  14. Make sure your command line parameter is calling the correct core you want to use.
  15. Well if your games are loading through RA on it's own then you have something set up incorrectly in Launchbox.
  16. Someone asked about the 185 Mame core a while back over on their forums, it may give you some more insight to their reasons for not doing it. https://forums.libretro.com/t/where-can-i-redownload-the-mame-185-core/11335
  17. Oh I know. I'm like you, I could probably figure it out if I bothered to look into it, i'm just saying that the option is there if it's that important to someone, or they could just use the stand alone build of Mame since all the old versions are available. Perhaps someone can take it upon themselves to create a backup site of previous RA core builds.
  18. Yeah it could be bios as well, bad bios and bad disk images are the 2 most issues.
  19. Like I said before, the source code for previous builds is available if anyone wants to compile their own, so there is that option.
  20. I don't recall ever seeing that with PJ64 but then again it's been a very long time since I really used it so I don't know if any of these settings affect it or not.
  21. Yeah well take it up with the RA devs, debating it here is pointless.
  22. That is the one that would be my guess that Rocket Launcher and the Hyperspin.xml uses. I'm not sure what the Multimedia and Extras would be. The HBMAME is like I said, Home Brew games and rom hacks. The Software Lists is like I said, console and computer games. Anything with Update in it is just that, an update pack to be merged in with the previous version of that pack, you need to merge it in with a program such as CLRMamePro. You cannot just simply drop the update pack on to a previous set and have it work. CHD packs are not necessary for the most part but there are a few games that do require them such as the Capcom CPS3 stuff and a few others.
  23. All those sets are included in a single pack of Mame roms though, they aren't broken out for you for download.
