We cannot tell you exactly where but as Broken Matt Hardy would say "The Dome of Pleasure is a wonderful place."

Those bios are such a pain in the ass to find. Of all the bios I have had to track down I think the SNES special chips were the worst.
-
Did you try loading another game first and then bringing up the quick menu and then the options for the core ? In there you will see a setting for HLE and LLE for special chips, set this to HLE, then exit out. If it saved this setting correctly Mario Kart should now work. LLE is on by default. LLE is most accurate and requires dumps of the chips. HLE is less accurate but just fine in most cases but does not require chip dumps.
-
Oh yeah, it's a different core so you will need to edit your command line in Launchbox to reflect that but the cores themselves are mostly identical. I misread the question Edit: Here is the wiki page with info on the Mercury versions of the BSnes cores. https://wiki.libretro.com/index.php?title=Bsnes-mercury

I don't think there is any difference other than the ability to emulate those special chip games HLE vs LLE without needing dumps of those chips. There is a core option to toggle it on and off if you have dumps of those chips though.

The BSnes Mercury Balanced / Accuarcy cores should be fine without bios files, I am fairly certain it emulates these bios.

No Filler Mame Rom Copy 182 View File These bat files will copy all the roms and bios files from a split rom set as of Mame v.182 rom set. Using this on a rom set not 182 you may have missing roms so use with care if your set is different. This is an updated version of the older No Filler batch file for romset 170 I uploaded here: Thanks to @ckpfor taking the time to update this batch file for the newer set. In the download zip file you will find 2 files, one .txt and one .bat file. The .txt file is just there so you can look inside and see what is being done by the .bat file. To use this simply copy the _NoFiller.bat file to the folder containing your 182 rom set and run it like any other program. It will create a folder called _NoFiller and copy all the roms from your rom collection into the _NoFiller folder. From there you can then move that folder out to a location of your choosing for storage and then import those roms into Launchbox and you will have a nicer streamlined set of games. Ok will do. I will probably just make a new upload for it to keep it separate and keep from confusing people.
-
Oh, I didn't know you updated it. I will update the main post or make a new one for it, what romset did you update it for ? 182 ?
-
Just keep in mind that the No Filler set may not pull out roms 100% with a newer rom set.

Amiga game naming is a total mess depending on the type of images being used and getting a art and other database stuff sorted is a nightmare on a colossal scale.
-
I've never tried to do it but I believe there is an input plugin you can get for PJ64 to do this. I'm fairly certain that the RA core does not support this.

Launchbox running with Windows 90 degree rotation
Lordmonkus replied to stevep's topic in Troubleshooting
You don't need to use command lines if you don't want to, you can pop open the built in UI with the "Tab" key and configure each game as needed if you wanted to do things that way. -
Well if you want help to troubleshoot some performance issues with Launchbox we're more than willing to help out here because with your system you should be able to run it smoothly even if it needs a couple of small tweaks or just a few minutes to allow for image caching. The ram usage alone shouldn't be a reason to bail out on a program unless it is causing major issues with your system. Like I said in the forum post I linked about performance I run LB on an old system with only 2 gigs of ram and it runs just fine with some tweaks. My main system isn't far off of your system, AMD 8350 instead of an i5 and 16 gigs of ram instead of 8 and same video card and Launchbox is butter smooth for me.
-
Attract Mode is nice if you got your set list of roms and won't be adding or removing games on a regularly basis.
-
I know Launchbox isn't exactly light on the memory usage but just out of curiosity how little memory does your system have that it is a problem ? Are you experiencing serious performance issues ? What are your systems specs ? We have forum threads about performance and tweaks you can make to help out like this one here: Like I state in that thread I use LB on a shitty 10 year old PC in an HTPC setup which only has 2 gigs of ram and with some tweaks LB runs perfectly fine.

Looks pretty cool, I loved River City Ransom way back in the day when I owned an NES. There was a sequel on the SNES that was a Japan only game but has an English translation.
-
I'm talking about setting an addional app for more than a single game at the same time instead of having to do it one game at a time.
-
Does this mean bulk additional apps instead of per rom ?

Seriously, if you are going to pursue this you really should get a lawyer to make sure all your bases are covered. Make sure with 100% certainty that you are covered when it comes to the OS and all other software licenses. Getting a lawyer who specializes in all of this tangled shit will save you a lot of possible future headaches.
