  1. I haven't put much time into it yet but so far I will stick to what I have said before. It's a niche market type of game. If you want a story and clear cut objectives holding your hand and dragging you point to point then this is not the game to get. It really is an open world sandbox game of survival exploration and just enjoying the worlds and atmosphere. If you aren't sure about it then I would suggest you wait for a sale but if you know you would really like the style of game it is then I can say it is really good and worth the money but I would wait for a couple of patches. Some people are reporting severe performance issues and crashes depending on system configuration. It runs fine for me but I did have to turn G-Sync off in one of the games config files.
  2. Well unless these guys really pulled some magic out of their ass I can't imagine this using more than 4 gigs of ram. The original Skyrim was limited to 3.5 or something close to that if I remember correctly but yeah your CPU and GPU are going to be bottlenecks but it seems like there's a lot of graphics options to scale it to your systems needs. This game is really mind blowing so far, it really is AAA game title worthy. The art, story and game design is so top notch and polished. 4am and I don't want to go to bed and stop playing. lol.
  3. What sort of system specs are you running ?
  4. I run an AMD 8350 @ 4GHz, 16 gigs ram and a GTX 970 and at the starting are getting a solid 50-60 fps and higher. I run v-sync off.
  5. OH MY GOD!!!!! This is a must have for anyone who has Skyrim and if you don't get it so you can play this. The graphics are absolutely stunning, textures, models and lighting all blow away anything in Skyrim. It makes Fallout 4 look like a pile of steaming shit.
  6. Cool. Personally I don't use overlays, I find them distracting but I know people like them and it's just nice to have screenshots of what is going to be downloaded

    Noob question

You will need a movie player like the ones you mentioned. Just add a new emulator and call it whatever you want, something like Movie and create a platform for it to be associated with. Again call it something like Movies for example. Then drag your movie in like a game file, import it to the Movies platform you created and it will launch using the video player. Configure your video player to start up in full screen. Now of course it won't scrape all the artwork and information all nice and fancy but it will work. If you want info and art work you will have to get and add it all manually. Maybe you can suggest to Jason to add an IMDB and TVDB scraper function.

    Noob question

Do you mean for like importing movies into Launchbox so you can just launch a movie and watch it ?
  9. @nosh Glad to see people allowing the sharing instead of being a tight ass about things. @Thanos Reigns Any screenshot of them to show here on these boards ? Or did you post them somewhere that i'm missing ? Would be nice for people to see what they are downloading first.
  10. Probably a case of a farmed out to some dev team that couldn't be bothered to do the port right and didn't want to spend the time and money on it. No idea who actually did the port though. I just know that Igarashi was not pleased with it. Edit: That actually was pretty much it " The overall quality of the Saturn port's video is said, according to Igarashi, to be lower than the PlayStation version because it is a simple port handled by another team and was not recoded to take advantage of the Saturn's 2D capabilities. Igarashi overall expressed disappointment with the Saturn version. " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphony_of_the_Night
  11. For those wondering why the Saturn version of SotN was so bad when the Saturn was a 2D powerhouse. This video does a really good job with a possible explanation of the technical differences between the PS and Saturn.
  12. As far as Launchbox is concerned it doesn't matter. I don't know if Emumovies cares or not since I don't use Emumovies.
  13. I got the Enderal download going but it's gonna be a while on my internet speed, it's an 8.5 gig download. Skyrim is about to be installed right now.

  15. SkyUI would be nice but I don't think I would want to mod it beyond that. Edit: Judging from a gameplay video I am watching right now it looks like it has SkyUI built right into it. The person playing it says it is a fresh install of both and no mods whatsoever but it looks like it has SkyUI.
  16. Nice, been waiting on this since I heard about it. Played the first one they did using Oblivion and that was very well done. Judging by the trailer and stuff it looks like they Skyrims awful lighting at least. Can't tell if they fixed the shadows at all but that can be fixed through and ENB.
  17. Cool. Thanks to your video I finally got a start into the Amiga side of things. I downloaded a whole pile of WHDs since they package the whole game into one easy to use file. Mounting multi disk games is not possible directly through Launchbox right now without a lot of extra effort. I'm not a big user of save states anyways so the WHD format works just fine for me.
  18. Since I don't know a whole lot about the Amiga in terms of the rom releases were there more releases in the adf vs whd formats ? Doing a quick search for "amiga whd downloads" immediately gives what to me looks like a great site for getting what seems like everything anyone could ever want. Are there more adf files than that ? Also right now is the trade off between adf vs whd the ability to save state w/ adf vs the ability to load multi disk games w/ whd ? Like I said I am a total noob when it comes to Amiga stuff. While I knew of the Amiga as a kid growing up we just didn't see many of them, I think I saw one or 2 in my school way back when. I did own an Atari ST back in the late 80s though, lol.
  19. Yeah leaving the chair and house are highly over rated.
  20. What is Tapatalk anyways ? Some sort of cell phone app ?
  21. Thank you for this. I have avoided the Amiga because I knew just how much of a pain in the ass setting it up was. This made it so easy. Not sure if you made this clear in the video and I just missed it or what but for Launchbox people should definitely download the dev build and not the stable. With the stable build when you try and load through the launcher in Launchbox you just bring up the launcher and the game doesn't autostart. The dev builds launcher just boots straight into the game. Still and awesome video though, thanks again.
