MAME's bezels should be located in the 'artwork' directory directly underneath the main MAME directory.

All, a themed bezel pack for Atari 800 has just been released.

Not sure why the zip option isn't working for you. Works fine here. I just tested with random repositories.

Hyperspin original platform video themes in 16x9
dragon57 replied to user3000's topic in Platform Media
EmuMovies has some 16:9 platform videos on their ftp site under /Official/Platform Videos. -
Really not sure then. I switched cores to Gearcoleco and renamed the bios rom file and Retroarch runs all my Coleco games with no issue. Just for info, I'm running Retroarch 1.16 and Gearcoleco 1.0.1.
-
What name is your bios rom file? Gearcoleco requires colecovision.rom.

These are the steps I use. There are probably others that work just as well, or better. 1. Make sure LaunchBox is not running. 2. Start RetroArch manually and go to Online Updater/Core Downloader, select the SNES 2010 core and hit Enter 3. Exit RetroArch and start LaunchBox and goto Tools/Manage Emulators, scroll down and select RetroArch, then Edit. Select Associated Platforms, then scroll down to Super Nintendo Entertainment System, select the drop-down in the Core column and select the snes9x2010_libretro entry. Select OK. If prompted to update all SNES games to use this emulator, select Yes. 4. Run a SNES game and see if you see anything different.

No override is needed for bezels to work. All you need is that overlay setting to be turned on for the core you are using (saved as <core name>.cfg). Next you need a subdirectory under the config directory that matches name for the core you are using. The cfg files under config\<core name> point to the cfg/png files in the overlay\gamebezels\<system name> directory. If you have any specific overrides for SNES, I would remove all of them and see how retroarch behaves.
-
You have confirmed Display Overlay is set to On under the On-Screen Overlay setting when running a game in Retroarch?
-
Agree, those names seem to be ok. Which core are you using for SNES?
-
A pic showing your SNES roms would be helpful.
-
It sounds like a rom name mismatch with the bezel set. Have you verified the cfg file names in ...\retroarch\config\<core name> match your roms 100%?
-
Try right clicking the game, Edit, additional applications tab, click on the version you want, and then click the "make default" game.
-
No setting in LB/BB that I know to do what you asked for, but the easiest and quickest way to 'fix' that is to go to your ...\retroarch\config\<core name>\ directory where the bezel cfg files live and just duplicate then rename a cfg for a bezel that is working to match a game that has no matching bezel. Hopefully this makes sense.

I would be glad to work with you to get the Windows app working with your RocketLauncher installation if you want to take this to private message.
-
Like I said earlier, the Github repos are configured for Retropi/Linux, so if you want to install on Windows, you should use Launchbox or our Windows app. The Windows app supports Retroarch, native MAME, RocketLauncher, Android, etc. Each repository should have a sample bezel showing what those for each platform looks like. Example: https://github.com/thebezelproject/bezelproject-NES
-
Give me a specific example. We are always open to new ideas for the project.
-
The repositories on Github are not meant to be used in that way, although you are free to search all you want. The repositories that are there are meant to deliver a set of bezels for a platform that are a snapshot in time using the database files made available by no-intro and redump. None of the repos are what I would call complete because more and more titles are added/renamed all the time, but the repos are a good starting place. You may also have to rename the ...\config\<core name>\*.cfg files to match your roms, or vise-versa. In summary, there are 50,377 bezels of the themed type and 85,542 of the system art type currently on Github created by the Project.
-
Don't forget the Github files are configured for use on Retropi/Linux, so the cfg files can't be used as is.

All, a themed bezel pack for Amstrad CPC has just been released.
