  1. If you installed old bezels for MAME, also remove ...\overlays\ArcadeBezels
  2. Yes, the Pure core is a work in progress, but so far there hasn't been a DOS game I haven't been able to get running via the core options. I will say there is a script on Github which converts the exodos format files to a more normal format that works with the core. I don't have a link, but if you are interested in it, you should be able to find it if you search around. There may even be a post here on the forum about it. I'm not sure.
  3. Retroarch has a core called Dosbox pure. If you use that you should be good.
  4. I have updated the 7z file per your request.
  5. DoxBox Pure under RetroArch supports m3u files for cd images.
  6. SA stands for System Art styled graphics. Each repository has a sample embedded in the readme on GitHub.
  7. You can find a number of MAME bezels on the EmuMovies ftp site under the following directory: /Official/Bezels/MAME Standard Bezel Pack (MAME)

    Bezels

Your rom/game names MUST match the cfg files installed under ...\retroarch\config\<core name> exactly. For cartridge based system, we use the no-intro database naming standard. For disc based games, we use the redump database standard.
  9. Announcement The 'Themed' bezel set for PC (MS-DOS) has been released for the Windows platform (7200 bezels). The naming standard is per the eXoDOS V5 listing. If you are using the Project's Windows app to install, make sure to refresh/update your system listing. An updated listing has been pushed to support LaunchBox as well.
  10. Not that I know of.
  11. If all you are seeing is the default bezel, the most likely cause for this is your rom names don't match the bezel names. Have you checked this? Look in the retroarch\config\Citra directory to see if the cfg names match your game names.
  12. Look back on the previous page of this thread. I posted a solution for this:
  13. Top of the page under the Help & Support list, Request a Feature: https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/new
  14. Here you go. The Bezel Project - How to remove the TV surround.7z
  15. Need more info. What error? When trying to do what? Don't forget, if you install a bezel type/pack and the bezels don't show up when you run your games, the most likely issue is a naming issue. The rom names must match the names of the bezels. We use the 'redump' data bases for systems that originally used optical media.
  16. If using the Bezel Project for Windows utility, you select the bezel type under Preferences.
  17. Just a couple of points. Neil is correct in that there are no 'Themed' bezels yet for PS2 (this is on our todo list), however a complete 'System Art' bezel pack does exist for PS2. It has bezels of the following look and type. Second, RocketLauncher bezel installation is only supported by the Project's Windows Bezel utility found here: https://github.com/thebezelproject/BezelProject-Windows
  18. It really sounds like you have what is called a mis-matched MAME set. You should always match the MAME version you want to use to a set of roms packaged for that same MAME version. If you can find the correct version of Venture, you could replace what you currently have, but it takes some knowledge and understanding of what type of rom set you have (there are different types that MAME can use). It may be simpler to download a current set of roms along with the matching MAME.
  19. I have one in my 'additions' set on EmuMovies ftp. /Upload Here/_Other/dragon57/Nostalgia
  20. If you want bezels from The Bezel Project to be used under MAME for what is commonly called 'Software List' systems like ColecoVision, NES, etc., I don't think LaunchBox supports this type of install yet (devs, please correct me if I am incorrect). You would need to use the Windows app from the Project to convert and install MAMA related bezels for the supported systems.
  21. Comment was just informational for others that may read it.
  22. This is an artistic choice by the author, and is no different than the "2.5D" box fronts that are also being created and posted to this site. Some love them, some don't. There are choices everywhere!
  23. Bezels should reside in ra>overlays\gamebezels\<system name>
  24. The bezel files should be located under the Retroarch install directory. The png files should be in the overlays\GameBezels\<system name> directory.
  25. The bezels with the tv surround are static and are intended to be used with one of the optional Retroarch shaders that simulate the rounded corners you had on old CRTs. If you want to remove the tv surround, you can batch edit them in various graphics programs. Attached is a pdf from our Facebook group that provides one solution. How to remove the TV surround.pdf
