  1. Thanks for that catch. I have corrected the directory structure.
  2. Yep, the project you reference is pretty much complete. You can download the files here: https://archive.org/details/retrogamingmarquees
  3. I wondered if there were any for previous years. I'll have to do the same.
  4. Wow, thanks for that project link. That is a new one one me. I'm a huge Vectrex fan, so this makes me very happy. You work here also is at the top of my appreciation list. Great job.
  5. Some use Git to provide a download link(s) and which repo the files are submitted for. Some others use the official Facebook group. Members of the group can provide the same type of info after being approved for membership. https://www.facebook.com/groups/169088950389693/
  6. The app creates a backup for native MAME called artwork_BPSave in the same MAME directory. I wish there was an easy way of having the app successfully combine things, but I haven't been able to do that yet.
  7. The Bezel Project installers, both for Windows and Retropie, only install bezels that are part of the project on Github.
  8. Normally when this result shows up, the name of the core you are using does not match the name the project uses and installs under retroarch\config\. Make sure you rename the correct directory under config to match the core name being used.
  9. I have released V1.1.8 which hopefully fixes the native MAME looping issue. Please let me know how you get along with it.
  10. I can affirm this is a false positive. Create an exception for the install directory and you should be good.
  11. Update: I am working with a user that has this problem. Hopefully we are close to a fix.
  12. Yep, I'm the dev. The issue for installing against native MAME has been reported, and, no, it shouldn't keep counting up with the percentage. If you kill the app via task manager, the files should actually be installed, but the tag in the ini file won't be updated (that tells the app MAME is installed). I am currently working with two different users on what is going on. I can't replicate the issue here on any machine I have. I have done a ton of tests, but nothing that points out what the issue is.
  13. I have looked in to this, actually. The problem I found was the directory names can change over time, and by different versions of Retroarch. Because of this, you would still require a manual renaming at different times.
  14. You need to create content directory overrides in Retroarch if you are using a core for multiple systems. Ref: https://docs.libretro.com/guides/overrides/
  15. Sounds like you have 'save on exit' set to true in Retroarch. If so, toggle it to off/false. This means you will have to manually save the default settings to retroarch.cfg manually, when/if needed. To reset the behavior you are seeing, exit Retroarch, then edit retroarch.cfg in your text editor of choice. Search for input_overlay and see if you have a value save there. If so, delete the value, then save/exit your edit session.
  16. Mega Duck is in the MAME 'Software Lists' collection. It has 24 games. Below is the MAME names list. 2ndspace.zip aforce.zip antsoldr.zip arczone.zip bftale.zip bombdisp.zip brckwall.zip bstfgtr.zip c5in1.zip captkk.zip duckadv.zip magictwr.zip md4in1.zip mmaze.zip pilewndr.zip puptkngt.zip railway.zip snakeroy.zip srider.zip trapturn.zip treasure.zip vex.zip wormvstr.zip zipball.zip

  18. That message means your anti-virus/anti-malware app has grabbed/quarantined one of the files the installer laid down. Create an exception for the installation directory, reinstall, then everything should work.
  19. You can manually edit the .atari800.cfg file to set the following: MACHINE_TYPE=Atari 5200 Make sure you aren't using MAME software list roms. Also, make sure your 5200 roms have header information. See this URL for info: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/16556/cartridge-type-code-list-for-atari-5200-games
  20. Have you tried changing the video driver type in Retroarch/video settings? Just cycle through the different choice and see if any fix the issue.
  21. Just something else to consider. Every time I have had a garbled font issue related to RetroArch, the root cause seemed to be related to a video driver. Make sure you have the latest driver for your video card installed. You might also try changing the Retroarch video option to something else that is supported for the cores you are running (GL, Vulcan, DX, etc.)
