The bezel files should be located under the Retroarch install directory. The png files should be in the overlays\GameBezels\<system name> directory.

The bezels with the tv surround are static and are intended to be used with one of the optional Retroarch shaders that simulate the rounded corners you had on old CRTs. If you want to remove the tv surround, you can batch edit them in various graphics programs. Attached is a pdf from our Facebook group that provides one solution. How to remove the TV surround.pdf

The Bezel Project's Windows app has an option to download and export bezels for generic Android. A readme is generated that should help you install it. I don't think the LaunchBox team has coded native bezel support for Android yet, but if so, they can correct me here.

If all you are seeing is the default overlay for the system, the most likely issue would be your game names. The No-Intro standard is used where possible.

While there is no Themed bezels for this platform, we do have a System Art set available if that works until a Themed set is created. The style can be seen in the attached screen shot.

We have a FaceBook group where we coordinate bezel creation. Join that group to see what currently is being worked on: https://www.facebook.com/groups/169088950389693

If you are not seeing any bezels until you manually set one up, you have a mismatched naming scenario going on. The bezel files follow the no-intro naming scheme. Easiest is probably download a no-intro set and go from there. You could also use a renaming utility to rename the roms to match, or rename the bezel cfg files to match your rom names (this is much more labor intensive and potentially will mis-name some files if you are not careful).

You can't use the contents of the Github repositories from our Project directly on a Windows machine. Those cfg files included use Linux paths intended for RetroPie. LaunchBox and the bezel project Windows app installer converts the files on the fly for use on a Windows box. Having said that, if you are familiar with Retroarch and the folder structure, you can mass edit the cfg files under the config directories to use the correct path values, but I wouldn't recommend this for most everyone.

If you are using Retroarch cores for those other system, yes, bezels will work with those too, as long as the rom names match the bezel naming conventions, e.g. No-intro for cartridge based and Redump for optical rips.

Bezel project mame some dual screen and vertical bezel help
dragon57 replied to ChickenGeorge's topic in Noobs
The Bezel Project files only support the single screen version of its games at 4:3 aspect ratio. You will have to replace any existing 4:3 artwork files with multi-screen versions from other sources. Perhaps when we circle back to MAME and expand support for more games we can look at multi-screen options. -
Bezel Project not importing Atari 2600 properly

Have you verified your rom names match the cfg file names under \\retroarch\config\Stella? -
For GameCube, try reinstalling. I made a modification to the configuration on GitHub. Not sure for SNES. That is one that is usually no problem to get working. Have you checked to make sure your SNES rom names match the cfg files found in the Retroarch\config\snes directory?

I may have cracked it. It appears the dolphin dev team changed the internal name to dolphin-emu. Rename the dolphin directory in the config directory to dolphin-emu and see if that fixes your issues.

For a tutorial on removing the TV surround graphic from the bezel files, please download the archive from the following link, extract the contents, then follow the steps in the PDF file. https://drive.google.com/file/d/16OpfwC_4dEds0LhRYBmE5SeQ7xUQxITT/view?usp=sharing

Yes, you can batch process the png files to remove the TV surround. We have a document in our Facebook Group that details the process.

The only option I can think of that would affect not seeing any bezels is the core option related to the showing of overlays.

How to disable Mame Bezel in Launchbox/BigBox?
dragon57 replied to dukey3784's topic in Troubleshooting
I can't speak for more options in LaunchBox, but the Bezel Projects app for Windows has a disable and uninstall option. -
The 'Themed' bezel pack for Sega 32X has been reworked to match 4:3 aspect ratio.
-
Default core name is dolphin_libretro. Just because things work in RocketLauncher doesn't mean your naming convention works with the bezel packs.

How to disable Mame Bezel in Launchbox/BigBox?
dragon57 replied to dukey3784's topic in Troubleshooting
If you have duplicate names, only one is seen, if I recall correctly. -
It appears the Themed bezels for 32X were created some time ago before we had the settings we use now. You can manually change the viewport size and save a game override. I will add a request to rework the 32X bezels to a 4:3 aspect ratio.

How to disable Mame Bezel in Launchbox/BigBox?
dragon57 replied to dukey3784's topic in Troubleshooting
Most any modern version of MAME allows you to flip your bezels via the built-in menu system. What I do here is to define more than one artwork folder path in the MAME.ini file. That allows you to have files from our project, plus the traditional ones that have additional features. -
If all you see is the default bezel for your games, the first thing to check is to verify your naming for the game files match exactly with the cfg files found under \\retroarch\config\<core name>.
-
If you are positive the rom names match the cfg file names under the \\retroarch\config\<core name>\ directory, the only thing I can think of is the directory for the core you are using just isn't supported by our bezel repo. If this is the case, it is easy to change though. Just rename one of the Dolphin directories that were installed to match the core you are using.
