  1. I am wondering if he meant using a keyboard in BB though? Like press F on your keyboard to go to F in your game wheel? I imagine the vast majority of people use BB with a controller or joystick, but I guess it would be no harm if it were to be added.
  2. Hi there, I've used x360ce for some Windows games but not with emulators so far. I just drop the exe in the same folder as the game exe and run it, map the buttons, and it just worked. I have not used it with my Switch Pro controller yet though, just a USB snes pad.
  3. I had the exact same issue some time ago when I connected my old laptop running RetroArch to my new Samsung tv also, glad you got it sorted
  4. I assume you have zipped up your data folder and sent it to Jason, as he requested yesterday, right? If not, I suggest we leave it until you do.
  5. I'm sure @Jason Carr can put in a dependency in LB that will prevent this from happening in future if Retro Achievements is down.
  6. I opened a ticket on this some time ago if anyone would like to vote on it: https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/1877/controller-autoconfigs#comment-None
  7. Some good ones recently
  8. Are you sure it's the same FBA core in your associated platforms as what you're using in RA? There are 3 options that will run Neo Geo games, each possibly supporting different rom sets.
  9. Yeah, Retropie does something similar to this and it's pretty cool. I'd like this in BB.
  10. I'm talking about a pc powerful enough to run something more demanding, for a lower spec pc, sure.
  11. It's good on something like a Pi 3, but if you are on a Windows pc I wouldn't use it.
  12. Also, the PCSX_reARMed core is for ARM cpus, if you are on Windows, use the Beetle PSX core.
  13. I guess you could edit the code for the particular theme you are using. Probably your best bet would be to check with the theme creator on their individual thread in the Big Box Custom Themes forum.
  14. You can turn off the Games Details screen in the Big Box options. Mine always skipped to the letter without a button press.
  15. And the Dreamcast cores in RetroArch are not worth bothering with when you have Demul.
  16. Charco

    Thanks

I'm glad you had such a positive experience with LaunchBox, I found it a breeze to set up when I got it and the people here on the forums were really helpful whenever I had any questions
  17. Probably because the majority of LB users don't use RL?
  18. Great stuff, looking forward to trying out the new pdf reader
  19. I have switched to this core as my default for NES emulation. Tested it out last night and found it really good. I installed the HD pack for Mega Man aswell, very cool. The core also supports achievements now.
  20. Note that you are probably going to need syscard3.pce for PC Engine CD/Turbo CD in RetroArch. You may very well have this in your system folder but it might need to be renamed. Here you will find the md5sum of the bios file that RetroArch requires: https://buildbot.libretro.com/.docs/library/beetle_pce_fast/
  21. I'm not sure about Turbo Engine and PCEjin doesn't appear to have been worked on since 2015. Have you tried an up to date emulator like the pce_fast or supergrafx cores in RetroArch? They are actively being worked on.
