  1. Ok, that does sound like a better option. Can you give me a link to the bluetooth dongle you use @Retro808? Also, I am on Windows 7. I have also noticed that both controllers have the green light for player 1 lit up instead of player 1 on controller 1 and player 2 on controller 2.
  2. I recently bought two SF30 Pro controllers and two 8BitDo bluetooth adapters (I found out they can only have one controller connected and had to buy a second one). I am thinking of just getting a generic little usb bluetooth dongle and using the 8BitDo ones for my Switch. I have found that when both controllers are connected they switch between player 1 and player 2 in both RetroArch and Windows games like Ultra SFIV. Not sure if that is a Windows issue or if it will be resolved with another generic dongle. I'd appreciate if anyone has any insight on that.
  3. How about if you go to the RA menu and choose Quit RetroArch? You may have a conflict where the Esc key is assigned via controller automation in LB and also exit in RA.
  4. Are you using controller automation in LB.Next or exiting RA using hotkeys in RA itself?
  5. Thanks @Lordmonkus, I had quotes in my path so I used the .bat file and it worked like a charm! I already had the standalone version of Cannonball in my LaunchBox setup but it's great to now have shader support with the RetroArch core
  6. If you go into the Big Box options and go to the controller options you can set a button to switch views, mine is set to the Select button. I then went into all of my platforms and cycled through the views to settle on the one I wanted for each. For example, I use a different view for arcade games than I do for consoles as I use the Hyperspin style videos for arcade.
  7. Not quite sure what you mean by "change game layout", do you mean switch views? Have you assigned a controller button in BigBox to switch views? Views will save on a per platform basis and not universally.
  8. Welcome back @letstalkaboutdune, I'm still using your playlist videos Honestly, I have experienced no issues with Big Box performance since that version, although I am using a fairly beefy PC. There have been a lot of improvements and we have not seen an increase in people reporting performance issues on midrange hardware that I am aware of.
  9. I believe there may be different core options for both. The one without the year in the filename is the newer core and should have more options. I guess I would choose that one for the version you play the most out of AES or MVS as you won't be depriving yourself of newer options. Both cores run the games great anyway performance-wise though.
  10. I wonder what the issue is? I guess it'll be fixed in a nightly build soon.
  11. Yeah I don't have one on my Logitech K400 Plus either.
  12. Thanks @Jason Carr, I know it's not a top priority but thought I'd mention it while we were on the subject of the pdf reader. Keep up the good work
  13. @Jason Carr speaking of the pdf viewer, have you been able to separate the assigned controller buttons from the main UI controller buttons? I haven't looked at it in a while, but back when I did I I was unable to assign buttons to zoom that had already been binded to another UI function in Big Box.
  14. Welcome to the community @RetroKenesis and thanks for contributing your work!
  15. @crisemmm made a soundpack that might be what you are looking for. Use the .wav file version:
  16. Fight'n Rage is a fun multiplayer beat 'em up. Mercenary Kings is a good multiplayer run 'n' gun, as is Broforce.
  17. This is where the game title might not match the one in the Retro Achievements API, although when you launch the game in RetroArch, the rom name probably does match. I guess it is both LaunchBox/Big Box and RetroArch pulling info differently from the same source. I have found that if I update the title of the game in LaunchBox to match that of the one on the Retro Achievements website, it then displays the achievements in LaunchBox/ Big Box.
  18. With betas you can expect some issues, that's why they are betas. I recommend you stick to stable releases.
  19. Are the alternate names from Retro Achievements also used? I've had to manually rename a few games for cheevos to populate in LB.
  20. Oh and also an FYI that Retro Achievements are currently not populating for Master System games in LB so maybe the API integration needs to be looked at too @Jason Carr
  21. I'd like to be able to see my profile on the sidebar as it shows your Retro Achievements score and the last games played etc. Definitely if friends list integration were possible I'd love that too. A link to the news page would also be nice as you can see what new achievements are added. I often have a look at this in the Retro Achievements Discord so it'd be handy to have access from LB.
  22. I prefer the old way for the details sidebar, especially as the sidebar on the left isn't floaty. LB.Next is definitely getting there though, once the adjustable image size options are in I'll be migrating over to it full time. Great work @Jason Carr.
  23. If the second option was possible then it'd be great as it would help eliminate user error.
  24. There isn't such a feature at the moment but it has been requested. Hopefully we might see this in the future.
