  1. Ha ha, well that shows how much i upload to the database (i have done enough to be moderated there, not that i do) i have never noticed those tool tips, thats my bad i guess for pulling from the database but no submitting to it to often. I feel though if we are allowing region names we should also allow region release dates to match them?
  2. Then i guess im mistaken, (i wasnt around here at the beginning, so its likely), but naming has always i thought been US based, so if we are using US names but then using say Jap release dates then that doesnt seem like a good idea either to me. Im probably missing something though, we did use to have a google drive database rule set, but i believe that left when Brad did?
  3. The database is based on US release and naming. Other region info like alternate names are available, but the priority is essentially English language and specifically US biased. Not that im arguing with you as im actually UK based myself, but it is what it is. Maybe it can be expanded in the future but when we started the database it was 100% US based. If games are only released in Japan or Europe they are still allowed on the database, but if a game is released in all regions then it is the US version that takes the centre stage here.
  4. I dont know much about LED Blinky, but the startup videos are played before Launchbox has actually launched. Its just VLC playing a file while Launchbox loads in the background, so there is no data for Launchbox to send to LED Blinky at that point. At least thats my best guess.
  5. Yeah its working fine for me on the same 11.5 beta 1.
  6. Are you using any other plugins, like the playtime tracker for example?
  7. I think you are confused here, those Nintendo games in your last image ARE arcade games. Nintendo made arcade games back in the day and there are quite a few Nintendo arcade games. If i search Nintendo in my arcade platform i get all these results. Also in that last image you have highlited "Nintendo Arcade Classics" that is a playlist, not a platform, and it will show all the arcade games that Nintendo released. In fact all those "Arcade Classics" in that list are playlists made from the arcade platform, its just a easy way to find games, and you was offered the choice to create these in the import wizard, and you clearly left that box checked. You can safely delete them if you dont want them.
  8. How are you trying to get them to work? You simply need a folder called startup in your video folder and drop any videos in there.
  9. Launchbox doesnt move games by itself. Can i see a picture of your Launchbox/Data/Platforms folder? Also do you have any playlists setup?
  10. I meant we do not support it as a platform or with metadata. Of course you can import it, you can import any file you want to Launchbox, but none of them will be scrapeable from ours or emumovies database's as i said previously its not a platform we actually support. Where as MAME we have specific metadata in place to scrape and only import whatever you specify in the MAME wizards filters.
  11. Use the priorities in options. so for example in box-front priorities check the box for ad flyers and move it up the list.
  12. Launchbox doesnt even have support for HBMAME.
  13. Those are all just part of the Arcade platform, Import a MAME fullset and they are imported. I would hate to have them all broken out into separate playlists, which is what you would have to do.
  14. Why would we provide compatibility with a old and outdated competitor? The way they handle there lists is archaic .

    Confused

Also do you have a fullset and used the fullset importer? As it could be that the default rom launched in Launchbox is a rom you dont have if it wasnt a fullset and you used the fullset importer.
  16. They are though, thats what im saying. The first three i looked for are there as normal. Gambatte. Desmume. Mupen64plus-next.
  17. Just use the downloader in Retroarch, thats what its there for. Its working fine for downloading cores.
  18. I dont see SuperGrafx in that list at all, and check your spelling for intellivision, it looks wrong from here, but its really to small to say 100%. Also isnt it Mattel Intellivision in our database, not just Intellivision, so which did you call it in Launchbox?
  19. Go to the additional apps tab, and click the one you want then the make default button.
  20. neil9000

    Pause menu?

Did you unzip the pause theme to the pause themes folder, also did you specify a button or controller combo to initiate the pause screen?
  21. No, it's not a Launchbox issue, its part of Windows, nothing we or you can do about that other than disabling UAC which is always one of the first things i do with a new Windows install.
  22. neil9000

    Pause menu?

Yes, turn it on in the options.
  23. Add Arcade and the core you want to use in the associated platforms tab for Retroarch, also you need the box to extract roms before launch UNCHECKED in the options for retroarch.
