  1. Yes, the images you download are going to have to be renamed regardless, whether that is by the program by dragging onto the window like you are currently doing, or by renaming the file manually and placing in the correct location.
  2. Just add them directly to the correct folder. Launchbox/Images/Name of Platform/Image type.
  3. I have never heard of that, but as long as it has a emulator that can accept commandlines it will work.
  4. It is there for access to the options you saw in it. Most users like to have it there. Personally i dont use it either, i simply have it set to a controller button for if i need it, as i can favourite games, choose a different version of a rom or launch a game with a different emulator from that screen, as well as many other options it provides.
  5. No, that is the Game Details screen. Which as i said can be turned on or off in the options.
  6. Unless that is indeed how it is supposed to look, what theme is it and ill check here.
  7. OK, that is correct. That is the "Game Details" screen which will show after selecting a game, and it can be turned off in the options if you dont want to see it. However your first image is very strange and it shouldnt look like that.
  8. I have never seen that before, it looks like the game details screen, but transparent, in the wrong position, and with weird font and spacing applied, very strange. What theme are you using?
  9. If they load from Launchbox they will from Bigbox as they share the same data. Can you share a image of the screen you are describing?
  10. Startup/Shutdown screens have been added to Launchbox, these are very similar to "Fades" in rocketlauncher, and they are not compatible with each other. You need to turn one or the other off, as they are fighting against each other to capture the emulator window.
  11. The problem is there is no "Dev Team" Just Jason, so he has to prioritize features.
  12. There are various options for framerate, unfortunately 90 is not one of those. If you want to play with them Options/General.
  13. lol, yes those have to match, otherwise how would Launchbox know which core to load if the names are different?
  14. What platform are you trying to load, and with which core?
  15. Retroarch works perfectly fine with Launchbox. You just add it as a emulator and specify the core you want for a system in the associated platforms tab. Can you show some images of your manage emulator screen and the associated platform tab, both for retroarch.
  16. Autoplay videos is in the "View" dropdown.
  17. Probotector is the European name for Contra. Right click the game and edit, click the additional apps tab, click the version you want then click the "Make Default" button, to make that the front facing version.
  18. You can not edit the default theme, but you can just copy the default theme and give the folder a different name and edit that.
  19. Ill bring this up with Jason. It could be that the remove roms is not implemented for additional apps, or it could be a bug. Ill wait for Jasons response and i or him will post back here when we have info.
  20. If you dont keep your games in the Launchbox/Games folder then the add/remove roms will not work as that is where it looks by default. Simply go to Tools/Manage platforms/Platfom name/Folders tab, and browse to the folder for the "Games" folder and run to tool again.
  21. You should never be adding/removing or editing data files while Launchbox is open. Its OK to edit things in the UI, but editing, adding/removing actual files should not be done when the program is open.
  22. Videos are on the emumovies screen of the metadata and images wizard, at the bottom.
  23. Yeah this is a standard .exe so you should close it via its own options menu. Forcing it to close in the way you are trying to could result in save file corruption, as you would essentially be "End Tasking" a running program.
  24. I believe this is just how the steam streaming works, you will have to have his games installed on your PC to play them, and likewise he will need to install your games on his PC, this is a requirement of the family sharing, the games you are sharing need to be physically installed on the PC you are playing it from. You cant stream from one user account to another, steam streaming only works with to PC's both logged into the same account.
