  1. Im going to assume you have a controller connected, try turning off "use z-axis (triggers)" in the controller options.
  2. It was busted at first, but is working fine now.
  3. The scan for added roms does just that, it scans for games in the folder that are not imported into Launchbox. I would check that they are actually EXACTLY the same rom, its likely they are revision or beta versions of games. What romset are you using and what platforms are you seeing this on? Also can you supply some images of it trying to import a game you already have and a image of the existing game already in your library.
  4. Can you share some images, because if all that was correct it would work.
  5. It just matches images against the games in the .xml files, and if a game is no longer imported the attached media is deleted.
  6. Launchbox will not delete anything automatically. The easiest way would just to be to delete the image folders for whichever platform, then using the metadata and image wizard to just download what you specify.
  7. To "sharpen" the graphics you are talking about "upscaling" so that it outputs at a higher resolution than the original hardware. The original resolution of the N64 was around 240p depending on region and cable connection type used. So it will always look blurry on a higher resolution display at its native resolution, this is why upscale options are available to output at a higher resolution to clean up the output. Again i use the mupen64plus core in retroarch for N64 and i upscale it to get a better crisper output.
  8. The paralell core is designed to be as accurate as possible, you can upscale it but it requires very specific settings and a VERY strong CPU in order to run at any acceptable speed. I would recommend using the mupen64plus core. That can be upscaled pretty easily, i actually run mine at 4K.
  9. Could just be that the game has emulation issues, what game is it, it looks like captain america?
  10. Its not a dropdown as you can name platforms anything you like, so if it only used the default names and you named the platform something different, then you would not be able to associate that platform with a core.
  11. I guess he wants the ebay link you mentioned in your OP. I would like to take a look at it also.
  12. Dont know, most of that will be the CHD's.
  13. There are three romset types for every version, Non-Merged, Merged and Split. Non-merged is the only set you can safely delete files from as every zip contains all the files needed for that game to run, including any bios files. The Merged and the Split set share files across zips to save space, hence a Non-Merged is around 115GB and the Split and Merged are around 60GB. So deleting files from a Merged or Split is risky. For example (and this is only a example) say the game 1941 was non working so you decided to delete it from a Merged or Split set, that would likely also break 1942 and 1943 as well as they are very similar games as they are the same series, and they share files so as to not bloat the size by including all needed files in each game and increasing the romset size.
  14. Depending on the romset type you have i would warn against deleting anything, if you have a split or merged set then games that were imported may rely on files in the MAME set that were not imported as many games share files. The file used to import is the mame.xml which is in the Launchbox/Metadata folder, any game marked as working is imported.
  15. No its not that easy, a theme would have to be coded from scratch as currently my theme uses game art in it, in order to use specific images it would need to be built from scratch to use specific images for specific games/platforms. Unfortunately i do not have the skills for that.
  16. You can run Android on hacked Switches now.
  17. No it will simply be Launchbox, at least at first. Who knows what may happen in the future.
  18. Rocketlauncher fades and Launchbox's startup/shutdown screens are not compatible with each other.
  19. You can just delete or move the license.xml file from the Launchbox folder. However if you are selling the PC i recommend you format it and install a fresh copy of windows, you dont know what personal data is on that machine.
  20. I would say its purely unlicensed.
  21. Its unreleased, and also if its not the official game it is also unlicensed.
  22. I use standalone Redream myself, and my CHD's work just fine with it.
