  1. Also that is not the case. It is unfortunate that you seem to be having some issues with it, but 99% of users are using VLC as the player just fine with zero issues, myself included.
  2. Sounds like your videos are in a format that Windows Media Player does not support, which is why VLC is the recommended player as it supports all formats. Try downloading the K-Lite codec pack for more codec support in Windows Media Player.
  3. Do you have "Windowed Fullscreen mode" enabled in Retroarch?
  4. Are you talking about only having one platform but that image infinitely repeats? If so there is nothing that can be done about that i'm afraid, at least in the current version of Bigbox. If you however mean that you have a bunch of playlists as well as the actual MAME platform , then you can just delete those playlists and just leave MAME. Also one last thing, if you do only have the one platform, in your case MAME you can set in the Bigbox options for Bigbox to open to "All Games" so it will load straight into your list of MAME games.
  5. Actually its 9.10 beta 1 and up. @Bellingham you can update to the beta by turning them on in Tools/Options/Updates, or you will need to wait for the 9.10 official release in order to use the default images.
  6. Yeah that sounds likely also, you use no-intro naming right? so if a system romset is from another set the names may not match.
  7. Ha ha, yep that would do it. @dragon57 probably be best to add to the description that the beta i think 9.10 beta 2?? is needed for these to work.
  8. Can you grab a image as im not sure from the description what that is.
  9. Sounds like you may have save on exit on in Retroarch, so when you exit its saving the active bezel at that time.
  10. Well that sucks, but at least you worked out what the issue was.
  11. What i said above should work fine, i originally said the wrong thing, but the DPI scaling option on a right click/compatibility should fix it.
  12. My mistake, i have never used kega fusion, but it looks like it's the DPI scaling not the fullscreen optimization, my bad. Cheers @DOS76
  13. You do realize that the Amiga is a computer and one that uses a mouse right? If you are launching into the workbench then you will need a mouse, just like you need a mouse on Windows. If all you want to do is play the games that is what Launchbox is for, booting straight to the game and not seeing the Amiga OS. As long as you have a controller/Cabinet controller configured for the emulator you do not need a mouse at all, just double click the game in Launchbox and you will be in the game, skipping the Amiga OS.
  14. Ah yes that will do it also if you have the MAME shortnames on the video files rather than the normal game name, like i said in my original reply. I have never had that issue as Launchbox scraped my games and renamed all the videos to match the library name not the actual file name.
  15. This is all handled by default by the mame fullset importer. Just run the importer from Tools/Import/MAME fullset importer, and on the last page of the wizard are a bunch of filters and playlist options. I recommend leaving everything as is, as this will only import known working games, and will exclude adult, mahjong and mechanical games, just like you want. You will end up with around 2800 working games.
  16. If i remember correctly Kega doesnt play well with modern OS's as its so old, i think you need to right click the .exe and go to compatibility and check the box for "Disable full-screen optimizations".
  17. Just move them where you want them, then re-run the MAME fullset importer, this time specifying the new paths. Uncheck all the media downloads in the wizard as you already have it all, it will just take a couple of minutes. Also you will need to actually tell your MAME emulator the new rompath as well.
  18. You just need to import games for those platforms, any platform you have games imported for will show in the Platform list.
  19. Yes, you just run the import mame fullset again and uncheck all the media downloads, takes a couple of minutes.
  20. Also what file type is the game, if its zipped unzip it and try it.
  21. I would, and also test that dolphin actually opens without a game as well.
  22. You can update MAME with the monthly update pack, but that requires quite complicated third party software, the easiest way is to just grab a whole new set, yes, as long as you dont mind downloading 60ishGB every month. You will need a emumovies paid subscription in order to download game snaps in Launchbox.
  23. A quick google of the error throws up this thread, its for mac but the error is the same, they say its a bad game dump in this case. So your Mario Galaxy may be bad. https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-mac-dolphin-5-0-error-intcpu-unknown-instruction-00000000-at-pc-00000000
  24. Hmm, i have a Ryzen 7 1700x and dolphin works fine, does dolphin open by itself from the .exe in its folder?
  25. Thats a Dolphin error, it doesnt look like it likes your cpu, what cpu do you have?
