  1. Awesome thanks for these, really makes some of my systems missing 3D boxes look a lot better. I was wondering if you could do a 3D box for arcade, preferably to match @Mr. RetroLust's 3D boxes, he does provide this template for them. Thanks again.
  2. OK, well first that command line is needed in order for the new pause feature to work correctly, so you likely can not use that feature. You seem very keen to be able to update Launchbox, but dont seem to have that same passion for MAME, why is that? The MAME emulation has come a long way. Also that new command line will work on versions of MAME going back over three years, so yes you have a very old set. Those two errors are because you downgraded your version of Launchbox, without first posting your issue here, this whole issue could of been solved very quickly and without errors, but anyway. Those are VLC errors because VLC was updated recently and you downgraded to a older Launchbox version that needs the older version of VLC. Simply close Launchbox and delete the VLC folder inside the Launchbox folder, Launchbox will re-create that VLC folder on next launch.
  3. OK calm down, you do not need to reconfigure anything. Im going to assume you are using a old version of MAME, simply go to tools/manage emulators/MAME and remove this command line entry, MAME should now work as usual.
  4. Have you told your new version of the emulator the path to your MAME roms? MAME has to know that path as well as Launchbox.
  5. Thanks @circo but that is the issue, the zip on the website is incorrect. The file page says the zip contains 3799 files, but in reality its only 53.74mb and only contains 49 images. https://emumovies.com/files/file/3755-arcade-3d-boxes-20/
  6. lol, i think you meant to tag @circo, not @Charco
  7. Enter on the keyboard has never started a game in Launchbox, however it was just added in the most recent beta.
  8. I believe that @CriticalCid completely makes in themes in notepad++ and does not use Visual Studio, could that be a reason why it does not open correctly in that?
  9. Hey @Mr. RetroLust I was just trying to download the full pack of these from emumovies as its easier to get one zip rather than multiples, but there is something wrong. The file is only 53.74mb, and when unzipped 7zip throws a ton of errors of missing files and i actually end up with only 49 covers.
  10. Just tested here by right clicking some SNES games and choosing "Play Music" and they are playing just fine. I dont have folders full of tracks though like you do in that image.
  11. Is this Launchbox or Bigbox?
  12. @Mr. RetroLust I'm getting this at startup. But this on shutdown.
  13. Yeah same, i just add neil9000, then my api key on the next page.
  14. Only by completely re-coding the theme.
  15. I see in your image that the platform is named "SNK Neo Geo AES" did you scrape it as that name? You should really scrape them as "Arcade" in order to correctly get all associated images. As you can see in your image where the game is found in the dropdown and has (Arcade) after the game name.
  16. Then it sounds like what @DOS76 said, that you have some overrides setup in which the filtering is on. Changing it with a core loaded and saving a core override will only change it for that core, doing it without a core loaded will turn it off globally for all cores, unless you have overrides for cores that are overriding that default setting. Also do you have Retroarch set to to save a config on exit? If so turn that off, so that it only saves settings when you want it to.
  17. Glad you got it working correctly now. That is good information on the folder structure though, i just have rom folders named after the systems with all the rom files directly in them and the "save content directory" has always worked. I guess it does make sense though as the option does say that it will save a override for the content in the directory and yours is technically empty as there are no files there, just another folder. At least you figured it out and have it working now.
  18. Save them as a "content override" that was added in the last few versions and is exactly for this sort of use.
  19. Is your steam profile set to public? I just tried here and its working fine for me.
  20. You would have to edit the actual xml files, but i cant help there im afraid. Have you tried this though?
  21. lol, Yeah that is the BIG extra feature you get with a license and is designed for controller navigation. Enjoy.
  22. It definitely does, its one of the first options i change in retroarch as i hate how blurry it makes everything look. Maybe you are using a shader as well so it looks like it is still on?
  23. Thats my mistake then as i said previously it was using VLC, apologies @7ank0v1c.
