  1. If you want to remove zips from a MAME set then you will need a non-merged set. They have every file needed inside every zip. You can not just delete zips from a split or merged set. The reason they are smaller in file size is because they share files between different games, if you delete a game it may contain files that a completely non related game needs. This is the issue a lot of new users fall into im afraid. MAME is a very different thing to all other systems.
  2. Hi and welcome. My suggestion would be to close launchbox and head to the Launchbox/Data/Platforms folder and delete the "Sony Playstation 2.xml" file and re-open Launchbox,it should be gone. If not feel free to post back here.
  3. Make sure you right click and delete your current platform before you do the new import, and UNCHECK any media downloads, they will reattach if you call the platform the same name.
  4. Hi and welcome to the community. The fullset importer is just that, it assumes you have a full romset, (hence the name). If you only have a selection of MAME roms then dont use that. Just use the normal tools/import/roms option, as long as you are using MAME as the emulator and specify that in the wizard you will get the final MAME import screen like you saw on the import you did, difference being this will only import what you actually have in your MAME roms folder.
  5. I dont know of any pre builts no, there probably are some but they will always cost way more than building it yourself, especially if you want a "mini PC" you pay a big premium for the size reduction, too much in my opinion. You can build a mini itx system way cheaper though and it will stillbe very small as long as you get a mini itx case.
  6. Also to add to that Bigbox likes a GPU also, so having one built into the CPU will be a advantage there.
  7. I would personally look at the new ryzen CPU's that have a built in GPU if you want a cheap system. Most emulators up to what you want only use the CPU for the most part, but a integrated GPU will not hurt at all and will allow you to upscale things like PS1 and also allow you headroom for shaders if you want to use them.
  8. Working fine here, double check that auto play videos is still checked under the view dropdown.
  9. Glad you got it sorted, thats why i asked for pics, its much easier to spot a error that way. Lol i just downloaded that text file, and yes you are right he missed the " at the end.
  10. you need a " at the end of the command line in your final image.
  11. Platform clear logos are not downloaded there. They are either already in the program or will need to be acquired yourself. There are a ton here on the forums. https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/category/14-platform-clear-logos/
  12. In your mame ini is your rom path supposed to have a capital B in Launchbox? Mine is a lower case b.
  13. Did you specify the correct core in the associated platforms tab?
  14. Tools/Manage Platforms pick a platform Video Path and browse to the video file.
  15. Generally you would need the platform name.xml from Launchbox/Data folder and the platform name folders from Images and videos, and the emulator and games folder as well of course.
  16. If you share the drives from both devices on the network you can use something like synctoy to sync them. You install it on both devices make one the master essentially and the other one the folder to be mirrored to. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=15155
  17. To get MAME to show bezels while playing games just add the bezels (still zipped of course) to the MAME/artwork folder, they should just work. If they dont you may need to enable bezels in the Arcade64 UI, i believe in the normal MAME they are enabled by default. You do not need anything to show in that window inside of the UI, just place them in the artwork folder.
  18. If its working directly in retroarch then you have something wrong in launchbox. So as per my first response did you add CPS 3 as a associated platform and pick the correct core for it? Also that name there needs to exactly match what you called the platform in Launchbox. A screenshot of your retroarch associated platform tab with cps 3 showing would help greatly.
  19. What core are you using? Did you specify the correct core for Retroarch? What did you name the platform and did you name it the same in the associated platform tab for retroarch?
  20. Yes they will get automatically added.
  21. Yes, but windows itself may be missing those files. Launchbox will install files it needs, but it also still needs the OS to have certain files as well. Specifically the directx and .net framework i mentioned, it could be they are not on that system, or you have older versions that need updating.
